Guest Connzilla Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Looks pretty good on paper, having Milano, Cabana, Joe, Corino, Castagnoli, Hero, Delirious, Low-Ki and Daniels on the same card means a good show.
GreatWhiteNope Posted August 17, 2006 Author Report Posted August 17, 2006 It was just announced that the Ring of Honor World Championship will be defended at Ballpark Brawl: http://ballparkbrawl.com/news/index.php?id=125
Guest Connzilla Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 so Bryan Danielson is the new NATURAL Heavyweight Champion
GreatWhiteNope Posted August 17, 2006 Author Report Posted August 17, 2006 so Bryan Danielson is the new NATURAL Heavyweight Champion Assuming he's still ROH champion come the 27th, that seems likely.
claydude14 Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Holy shit. If this wasn't the day before classes started.... I dunno, still pretty tempting.
Guest Connzilla Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 Who wants to bet Teddy Hart no-shows and Low-Ki takes subs for him in the Daniels match. I'm predicting Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Bryan Danielson For the ROH and NATURAL Heavyweight Championships with Danielson picking up the win

Jingus Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Um... was there even ONE advertised match that actually occured as planned? (Okay, Joe vs. Corino... TWO advertised matches?!) I just recently bought the dvd of Ballpark Brawl from a year or two ago (the one with Sabu/Styles/Hart in a Table Ladder & Chair match), and... it was actually pretty crappy. The production was typical lame indy: cameras that aren't properly focused, bad editing, annoying amateurish commentary, the works. And beyond that: most of the matches, well, sucked. Somehow a really good card on paper turned out to be a massive disappointment in reality.
GreatWhiteNope Posted August 28, 2006 Author Report Posted August 28, 2006 Um... was there even ONE advertised match that actually occured as planned? (Okay, Joe vs. Corino... TWO advertised matches?!) Danielson was injured and couldn't be there. Kashmere's 12-year old cousin died and he couldn't be there. Milano Collection AT and the SAT's were the other scratches. And every match went on as planned except for the main event and Teddy-Daniels.
