Has WWE released full seasons of 1990s RAW on DVD?

I wanted to know if the WWE has released any full seasons of RAW on DVD in the past or has any plans to do so in the future. I was hoping to find some of the old early 1990s seasons of RAW, such as the first complete season in 1993.

Thanks.

It'll never happen. There's probably too much fluff or embarassing stuff that Vince doesn't want to remind people of. Some of those old shows aren't as good as you remember them being. Sure, back in the day Monday Night RAW was cool by standards of the time, but I doubt a lot of those early episodes hold up so well today.

What, you don't think Vince wants to remind the world of Beaver Cleavage? The DX racism angle? Cloudy? Mark Henry's date with Sammy?

That's what the Wrestlecrap comps are for. Just saw the Mark Henry Date. Great stuff. Also the Jim Ross Heel turns, Who, TJ Hopper, Billionare Ted, and my favorite: Mark Henry's date with Chyna.

I am most interested in the 1993 Season of RAW. I was a big fan of the WWF from about 1986 through 1991, but I stopped watching around 1992 and I missed most of the 1993 season of RAW. I heard it was a pretty solid season - Jannetty vs. Michaels, Flair vs. Hennig, the one year of the Steiners in the WWF, etc.

I would love to check it out one of these days.

Well, yes there were some great matches in there, to be sure. I think a better idea would be a "Best of RAW" compilation box set...not necessarily every episode or every little thing that happened, but a set covering the best matches and angles throughout the 10+ years of Monday Night RAW.

I've always said that part of 24/7 should include all the RAW's and Nitro's from a particular month. Hell, I've always thought an all wrestling channel could air each week's RAW and Nitro back to back each night.

They sort of do that now. Right now 24/7 has two episodes each of Nitro and Raw from the same week so you can compare how they did.

How about future plans for a Saturday Night's Main Event DVD set? Any idea?

I believe this one is at least on the planning stages, as it was mentioned on a poll on WWE.com about which DVDs fans were likely to buy. We'll have to see.

And I also think it was confirmed that WWE was planning a Royal Rumble Anthology box set for future release. No specific dates or anything, though.
