Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 USC's kicker is not that bad. I remember he made like a 45 yarder against Arkansas. Meanwhile, USC looks like crap in this game. They're really dropping down the rankings for me. Arizona is a bad team. ND punt return called back. Yay. Memories of Colorado.
Bored Posted September 24, 2006 Author Report Posted September 24, 2006 Your mildly interesting, sort of upset scores. Army 27, Baylor 20 OT Mississippi State 16, UAB 10 OT Sylvester Crooms' job is saved! Okay maybe not. And so much for the progress Baylor made last year.
teke184 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Upset alert- NC State pulled out a last second victory over ranked Boston College with a long-distance TD with 8 seconds left.
CanadianChris Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Oh geez...I can't even imagine the media reaction if ND pulls off this comeback. Missed XP. Lolz.
2GOLD Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Oh geez...I can't even imagine the media reaction if ND pulls off this comeback. Missed XP. Lolz. GREATEST TEAM EVAR! LOSS WAS FLUKE! OMG NOTRE DAME NOTRE DAME NOTRE DAME! There, you now have the media reaction. And they now lead. Good job Stanton.
Bored Posted September 24, 2006 Author Report Posted September 24, 2006 Well this certainly turned interesting.
teke184 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 And "Fuck Notre Dame" pulls in an INT for a TD. He hits THIS XP though. The Spartans can hit a FG for the tie or get a TD for the win.
CanadianChris Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 "A comeback for the ages." It begins.
teke184 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 "A comeback for the ages"?!? I think that ABC got the "cum" part right...
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 You know they're not. Please fight, MSU.
CanadianChris Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Phew, a break. Face mask wipes out an INT.
teke184 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 MSU gets saved by ND actually getting a penalty called on them (inadv. facemask).
2GOLD Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Yeah, Drew Stanton is doing one hell of a job making a statement. The statement being, "I'M COLOR BLIND!" So the Irish will win, they will someone slingshot back into the top ten and Brady Quinn will suddenly be the leader for the Heisman. And the media will just forget the Michigan game ever happened.
2GOLD Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Drew Stanton single handedly gave the Irish the game. Turnover after turnover after TURNOVER, all on Stanton.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Yeah, yeah, comeback for the ages, instant classic, hype it up for a week. blah.
teke184 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 It's a good thing that the commentators aren't on-screen. It would be hard to take them seriously with all the ND spooge covering their faces.
Vern Gagne Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Desmond Howard needs to be on more. Absolutely dead on about Michigan St.
naiwf Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 I didn't get to watch the end of the game, but from what I heard from Don Criqui on Westwood 1 radio, this Notre Dame victory may be the greatest in the history of the Fighting Irish! Keep in mind that he also claimed Notre Dame was at the Purdue 20 something late in the 4th. What's with these senile fucks who can't keep the facts straight doing games?
Guest Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 USC didn't look too great offensively. That would worry me if.......the defense sucked. Fortunately, the defense is great, and I'm happy with the win. It isn't easy to play in Arizona.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 The defense did look strong, but Arizona's offense has struggled all year.
Guest Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Yeah. At least Emmanuel Moody is a monster. Since I noticed talk about Danelo earlier in the thread, he has no range. That's why they went for it.
gWIL Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 As a South Bend boy, I point and laugh all you haters. On another subject, i think Michigan should be higher than they are and Ohio State didn't look good until the 4th quarter, I think they'll go down to Michigan.
Guest Princess Leena Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 I'm a media hater, not an ND hater. At least since Weis went there.
