Lt. Al Giardello Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 After I was done working out, I went to the library which is located in the same building in where I work out. And I was going through the pro wrestling books they have, and I saw the Vince Russo, and I was debating on weather to pick it up or not. But I figured I'd come here and ask for your guys opinions on it, before I pick it up. Is it a good read? Is it interesting? Tell me what's up. EDIT: Damn I mispelled "here" in the title, I feel like a moron. I'm really tired.
Placebo Effect Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I like Russo, and I like the subject of the Monday Night Wars, and I disliked the book. It cuts off when he leaves the WWE, so what will probably be the most interesting parts (WCW and TNA) are saved for Part Two.
Guest J0bber Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I'd say the book is 90% Bible thumping. Whenever he even mentions a juicy story, the bastard always has to bring up his god. Somehow everything in the book relates to his god. The only interesting part in the book is when he describes the controversial pro wrestling radio show he had.

Yeah, shit. God smited people for crying out loud. The least Russo could do was talk about how much he hated Headbanger Mosh or something.
Craig Th Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I bought it this summer but it is currently sitting on my shelf, right next to Terry Funk's book.
Guest Felonies! Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I got the book on tape. haha
Guest JN Silentbob Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 I got the book on tape. Is it read by Betty White?
