Prime Time Andrew Doyle 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 I recently had to wipe my P.C clean and doing so I lost all my mp3s and other musaic. I have started to download them again and i'm also trying to import them from C.D's, but whenever I try to play a mp3 or rip them using iTunes, iTunes just says it suffered an error and closes. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know how to fix this?
Rob Anybody 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 A lot of people have had the same issue. If you have any plugins, delete them and see if that works. If you don't have any plugins, or deleting them doesn't work, just try reinstalling it (if you haven't already). Hope that helps. edit What's the error number? Prime Time Andrew Doyle 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 What type of plugins? Also, it doesn't have an error number IIRC, it just says an error has occured and that it has shut down.
Rob Anybody 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 I just went and looked at some Mac forums, so I don't have much general information, just specific cases. The only one I remember was third-party visualisations.
Prime Time Andrew Doyle 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 I think it may be a problem with the library, because the icon for that is still in the green colour, not the blue with v.7.
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2006 I'm having the same problem with my 30GB video. I have around 700 songs on iTunes but only about half of that number will actually load onto my iPod because it either freezes or I get this stupid error.
