Bored 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Kentucky came close to blowing a 21 point lead to Central Michigan. CMU scored a touchdwon to make it 38-36 but couldn't make the 2 point conversion. Wildcats answered back, now up 45-36.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Anyone getting the USC/Wazzu game? Is USC sucking as hard as the 14-12 score would indicate?
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Ugh, K State keeps fucking up. Another fumble at the GL. I'm never picking them again in any circumstances.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Iowa TD. 10-14.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Iowa scores a touchdown...at least they're trying this week.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Okay I finally flipped on Iowa/OSU and yes Brent is completely out of it. He confused Young and Sims three times while calling that touchdown. Anyone getting the USC/Wazzu game? Is USC sucking as hard as the 14-12 score would indicate? I haven't checked it out yet but Wazzu isn't half bad this year. I'm not surprised they've kept it close. iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 All right, I'm back out to the bars. If I don't give any more opinions when i come home drunk tonight, I'll give them as soon as I wake up sober tomorrow.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 There has been some piss poor officiating in this USC/WSU game. The PAC 10 apparently hires complete morons to be their officials. USC was up 28-15 but back comes WSU to make it 28-22. Could be fun time if they can make it happen again.
Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Yesterday I heard a bunch of USC fans going on about how Auburn doesn't deserve to be ranked #2 after winning a close game against South Carolina.
teke184 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Yesterday I heard a bunch of USC fans going on about how Auburn doesn't deserve to be ranked #2 after winning a close game against South Carolina. At least Auburn can say that Darth Visor (Spurrier) is coaching Carolina. What's USC's excuse?
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 No Dwayne Jarrett...of course Steve Smith has kind of made that moot with 11 catches for 186 yards. Nebraska has blown a 17 point lead against Kansas, 25-24 Jayhawks pending the two point conversion.
Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Georgia is proving that they are the weakest of the "big" SEC teams this year.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 I think Georgia would have a tough time scoring against Arizona State.
teke184 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Wazzu has 1 play to throw a 40-yard Hail Mary and kick the extra point. It'll be interesting, if they make it, to see the media downplay it. EDIT- NM... USC interception at the 3.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 How would the media have down played it? Anyways it doesn't matter, USC wins. Yay. Nebraska wakes up and scores quickly, now up 32-25. In the Bay Area they are letting us know with this game going long that we can tune to FSN+ for the Stanford game. I'm not really jumping to change the channel. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 And USC escapes. The Oregon-Cal-Notre Dame stretch is going to be more interesting for them than I first thought. I'm really starting to have questions whether they escape from those three games without a loss.

What I mean is that a miraculous USC or Notre Dame comeback gets attention and ESPY awards. A Wazzu comeback to beat USC becomes focused on USC and the night Steve Smith had, not that they lost and how.
Guest Smues Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Stupid TV contract deals mean the UW/Arizona game isn't on TV anywhere. Bastards.
Bored 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Well part of me wants USC to lose a game even though I'm a fan of sorts. The idea of the Big Ten champion playing the Pac-10 champion in a game that isn't the Rose Bowl makes me want to vomit. Of course I'm really rooting for Ohio State to lose a game. The idea of the Big Ten champion playing the Pac-10 champion in a game that isn't the Rose Bowl makes me want to vomit. Of course I'm really rooting for Ohio State to lose a game. What I'd like *best* would be Auburn to win out and for all major contenders BUT LSU to lose at least one game. That would set up for a rematch of the controversial 7-3 Auburn win in the title game, which would be the first single-conference title game in BCS history. Next best would be Ohio State and Auburn in the title game with LSU and USC in the Rose Bowl.

Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Arizona down 21-3 now. They're a really bad team. Every Zona team sucks.
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Georgia doesn't look very good. I really don't like watching SEC football because of games like this. 7-3 with the 4th coming up just doesn't do it for me.
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2006 Arizon is that team in the Pac 10 thats supposed to be on their way up but I think its Washington. Ty Willingham has those guys coming into every game believing they can win. With a victory tonight they become 4-1 and still have games with Oregon State and Stanford, both at home. Pick up one more win against WSU or ASU and things are looking up for the Huskies.

Pick up one more win against WSU or ASU and things are looking up for the Huskies. Washington's rough spot was fully tied to the incompetence of the school administration (ESPECIALLY the NCAA Compliance Officer) rather than the players. By running off Neuheisel thanks to university stupidity then getting a bargain-basement replacement on short notice, they went into the toilet immediately. While I derided Ty's run at Notre Dame, he seems to be doing fine at Washington. At least he can recruit on the West Coast like he did at Stanford, but without the academic limitations. Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted October 1, 2006 I have no idea why Arizona got so much hype early in the year. Their offense is just very untalented. They're lucky if any run plays go past the line of scrimmage. Other than Stanford, they're not coming close to beating any Pac-10 teams.
