Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted September 28, 2006 She looks good for a middle-aged lady, but I'd figured he could get the finest rats considering who he is and how he looks.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 She was at his house because they were planning out the story. Duh. EDIT: Does Owens have any endorsement deals with any companies? I wondered how this could affect any contracts he had, but I can't think of any company that's used him. Not recently, anyway. I can't really blame them if they don't. Guest Paul Report post Posted September 28, 2006 She looks good for a middle-aged lady, but I'd figured he could get the finest rats considering who he is and how he looks. I'm sure she's just a FTF. Kotz- actually he was set to do some PR work dealing with kids. That's about it, though.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 You mean that's why she was there, or that's the only sort of agreement he has with an organization/advertiser?
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Might be a situation where he is not supposed to be left alone on meds in case of something like this happening. I know doctors aren't really big on someone being left alone so soon after a surgery while their body adjusts to medication. Go in and check on them for the first week or so. Pretty common I would think.

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Dallas Police just officially called it an "Accidental Overdose" and closed the case. T.O. is practicing and claims he'll play Sunday. Dallas Police are pissed at T.O. and his publicist for attacking their story. They want an apology, from, quote, "the fancy little football player". T.O reportedly was "sad at his fiance calling off their engagement and not being able to see his son on the boy's 7th birthday". Parcells says we'll see how "the player" is doing Saturday and may play Sunday.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Can't The Player and the publicist get in trouble for lying to the police. Well, at least the publicist since she wasn't under the influence of 20 different pills, or whatever. And I love how Parcells treats The Player. He's awesome. naiwf 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Isn't accidentally O'Ding on pills grounds for failing the league's substance abuse policy?
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted September 28, 2006 I don't know. I think they only care if you take certain bad drugs. Not taking large amounts of acceptable ones.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 So the police want an apology after they once again change their story as well? Ok then. Everyone involved was an asshole, from the cops to the publicist to even TO himself. Actually, he was probably the only one involved who DIDN'T act like an asshole. That's kinda scary. If they are done with it, it would be really great if the media would be done with it. But they'll never be done with it, they probably are already trying to organize an interview with TO's ex. Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted September 28, 2006 And The Player's son. Who isn't living with his daddy, so he'll be equally traumatized. Which is all Bill Parcells' fault.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 PLAYERGATE CONTINUES on ESPN SPORTSCENTER God forbid they show something cool, like the two 7-run innings in one baseball game.
Guest Paul Report post Posted September 28, 2006 The way the media is treating Parcells in regards to his "lack of care" of The Player, is ludicrous. Parcells...I hate the fuckin' Cowboys, but yeah, keep being YOU. Because it's funny and stuff. It's ALL PARCELLS FAULT!
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted September 28, 2006 ESPN is hilarious with it. Saying shit like coaches should call players at 4am if they're fine. Oh, ok. I'd love to see how much Parcells hates Jerry Jones now.
Guest Paul Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Oh, he HATES him. His want for a SB win (which will NOT happen) and the acquisition of The Player has pushed the Tuna over the edge, I'd think.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Parcells knew what he was doing when he signed with Dallas. He knew that it'd be a media circus with Jones. He knew the team needed massive overhaul. It's not as if he and Jones were going to co-exist for Parcell's entire tenure, The Player just sped the process up.
Guest Paul Report post Posted September 28, 2006 When Parcells signed his contract, I don't think he was ever thinking of T.O., who got worse while Parcells started in Dallas.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2006 When Parcells signed his contract, I don't think he was ever thinking of T.O., who got worse while Parcells started in Dallas. True, but he knew that he and Jerry Jones were going to clash and that would be a headache. He got the headache he had to expect, just in a different form.
Guest Paul Report post Posted September 28, 2006 Agreed. I think Parcells would've preferred the Jones headache, to The Player migraine.
UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2006 I don't think Parcells is all that upset about the way things have gone down. Obviously, I'm sure he'd prefer to not have a player reportedly attempt suicide, but nonetheless I don't think ithis whole situation has bothered him too much. So, he has to answer a bunch of T.O. questions at a 30 minute press conference once a day - big deal. Bill knows how to handle the media better than anyone. If the guy is on the field and performing, that's all Parcells really cares about, because that's apparently the only time they ever interact anyway.
