the max Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 So Max, Your old pal Hal Gill scored last night, recording his 100th point. I'm surprised he has 100 points. I guess the blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Still wouldn't take him back, especially for the 2.1 million they're paying him.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 The Ducks haven't lost a game in regulation. Yay! So far they are averaging 1.69 Pts per game. If this keeps up, they'll have a bout 137 pts. One can dream. Pittsburgh is unreal with Crosby and Malkin. I hope the Pens don't lose Malkin. I hope when Malkin rolls into Anaheim, his goal streak continues.
CanadianGuitarist Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 That Avery dive, man Don Cherry is going to go on a tangent about how diving has taken over the game because of the Europeans, and now Canadians are doing that as well. Fuck that. Avery doesn't even deserve the attention. The Cherry tangent you described will likely happen though, however. It'll be a sad fucking day if Sean Avery is even regarded slightly as the face of anything Canadian, even briefly.
Guest Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I was impressed by Kopitar last night. He's gonna be a good one. Crosby and Malkin were both on fire last night, it's scary. That call in OT was a bit weak, but I will take it. 7 goals in 6 games for Malkin, and the Pens have won 5 in a row for the first time in a lonnnnnnnnnng time. That was the best game I've ever been to. The Kings don't lose if Cloutier isn't a piece of shit, though. I loved that my section was the one that started the "We want Garon" chant. Oh yeah, Crosby is the best player I've ever seen in person. Unreal.
KingPK Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 FOX NEWS alert: The Bruins still suck. Blow a 4-1 lead with 8 minutes to go in the 3rd. Jeremy Jacobs: "At least they had a lead." *Lights cigar with $100 bill*

Red Baron Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Andre Rasicot is a better goalie than Dan Coultier.
CanadianChris Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 Man, he had the greatest nickname ever, didn't he? Good old Andre "Red Light" Racicot.
CanadianGuitarist Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Which eventually became "Don't call me Red Light".
Red Baron Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 "Red Light" Racicot best year was in 92-93 when he posted a 17-5-1 record with a GAA of 3.39 and a save percentage of .889%
LaParkaMarka Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 He's better than Cloutier's fag ass. I understand your pain. That guy drove Vancouver fans insane, guaranteed one soft goal per game. At least Crow should have your guys playing a fun wide-open style. And Kopitar looks for real, so you have someone to build around. Does L.A. have much in terms of goaltending prospects? I think the Kings have the wonderfully named Fukufuji, but I have no idea if he's an actual goaltender of the future.
Red Baron Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 They still have Labarbera in their farm system
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 I shouldn't post this... but why not?
Red Baron Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 I have it on my computer. Its funny because its true. He has probably one of the worst blunders for goalies (next to Tommy Salo at the 02 Olympics).

Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Since this was a prediction thread, I'm bumping it.
