Guest Princess Leena Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 8 different games than my opponent. That will be fun.
Bored Posted October 7, 2006 Author Report Posted October 7, 2006 Unless iggy shows up in the next half hour he's going to lose a point for the Oklahoma State/Kansas State game. Here's his picks. THURSDAY TCU at Utah SATURDAY Texas A&M at Kansas Navy at Air Force Rice at Tulane Texas vs. Oklahoma LSU at Florida Baylor at Colorado Oklahoma State at Kansas State Washington State at Oregon State Missouri at Texas Tech Central Michigan at Toledo Tennessee at Georgia Oregon at California Wyoming at New Mexico Tiebreak #1: How many total points will be scored in the Texas/Oklahoma game? 47 Tiebreak #2: How many passing yards will LSU's JaMarcus Russell have against Florida? 205 And if Loaded Glove doesn't show up I'll use Angel Grace Blue's picks as replacements. I may have to replace him permanently as he's been late almost every week and this would be his second use of replacements. Sorry I'm not going to get around to posting pick breakdowns but not like it's hard to look for your opponents picks and see where you differ.
iggymcfly Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 I've been traveling the last few days and haven't had internet access, so I didn't realize that I didn't make the pick. Looks like I won't be able to get it in from that post, but just in case, I'd like Oklahoma State if allowed since the game hasn't started yet.
Danville_Wrestling Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 I'm glad Navy held off Air Force and the Florida Gators came through. 4-2 on the year!
nogoodnick Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 I'm 4-2 in the head to head games. All I need are for Mizzou or Wazzu to pull one out and I'm 6-0. Missouri currently up 10-0 in the 2nd and WSU is up 3-0.
Der Kommissar Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Looks like I bombed this week. Not surprising, considering I had no faith whatsoever in my picks. Better to lose now, I guess...
Hawk 34 Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Looks like I bombed this week. Not surprising, considering I had no faith whatsoever in my picks. Better to lose now, I guess... Thanks for ruining my bid for a winless season.

nogoodnick Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Well I think I scored 10 points, which aint too bad.
Guest Vitamin X Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Fucking Ducks really shit the bed for me today. Damn it. I would've had that.
Cuban Linx Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 I wonder if i can manage to be ranked in the top 10 despite having a losing record, after todays loss i'm close to achieving it.
CanadianChris Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 I think I'm 6-0, although I don't have my picks in front of me. Bad week score-wise, though, so I'll probably drop.

Hawk 34 Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 I FINALLY WON Yeah, but my victory was more Buster Douglas over Scarlet's Mike Tyson. I not only won but bounced him like a ball. It's really not fair to either of us. It's like Temple beating Ohio State. No one really buys my victory as a legitimate one and it just hurts the other guy.
Bored Posted October 8, 2006 Author Report Posted October 8, 2006 Remember how I've been preaching for patience? Things work themselves out in the end. After a few weeks nogoondnick had tumbled out of the polls despite being undefeated and it seemed unfair. But after a couple of big weeks he has grabbed the top spot. Also Leena has now been helped out by a boost in "stregth of schedule" and horrific weeks by Will Scarlet and Spaceman Spiff. Of course there is one bit of CONTROVERSY~ and that is the placement of Agent of Oblivion and the missing phoenixrising. Agent has now tied himself for the #1 spot in correct picks but has faced a brutal schedule which is why he's only 3-3. On the other hand phoenix is undefeated but has been very fortunate with the performance of his opponents as he's only 18th in correct picks. But like with noogoodnick, phoenixrising could find himself at the top in a couple of weeks. Bored Championship Series Rankings thru Week 6 1. Oregon - nogoodnick 4.3 2. Guest Princess Leena Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Lolz. Only in the BCS can you get blown out and finally move up the rankings.
Vampiro69 Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 At least I am 4-2 on the season and in second place in the Big 8.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 tie break again! fuckGood goin', E.
Carnival Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 I guess it's better than getting beat by a whopping 4 picks. ouch.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 You get ranked higher for losing by a lot. Don't ask me why.
nogoodnick Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 The game of the week has to be the battle of unbeatens in the Pac 8 with UCLA taking on the top ranked Oregon Ducks.
iggymcfly Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Wow, I was just thinking how I'd blown my spot in the rankings with such a bad week, but I actually moved from 10th to 7th. That's awesome.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 The game of the week has to be the battle of unbeatens in the Pac 8 with UCLA taking on the top ranked Oregon Ducks. It won't be. #2 Oregon State vs. #4 Hawaii. I give the game of the week to you.
phoenixrising Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 I didn't win by tiebreaks this week so that's an improvement...haha. I just need to pick a little better.
CanadianChris Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 My conference blows. I apparently need to get curbstomped like Leena did.
