buffybeast Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I'd appreciate any insight into this matter. A couple of weeks ago, my 30G iPod did not provide audio output for the right earphone. I checked the headphones on other electronic devices to ensure there wasn't a problem with the phones. They worked fine on other devices. I used other headphones on my iPod and the problem continued. This morning the audio output completely disappeared. I do have a four year performance plan with Best Buy. However, I'm currently deployed to Kuwait and can't get it fixed for six more months. I plan to purchase a smaller iPod in the interim. I just don't know what's wrong with the device. I've taken excellent care of it, avoiding dirt/dust (as much as I can in the desert), keeping it in it's armband, storing it in a closed cabinet when not in use, etc. I'm kinda pissed because I love my iPod and I don't know what happened. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
MrRant Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Well if it is physical you are out of luck. You could perhaps wipe it completely though.
