Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 What was the significance of the "hand gesture" that Carr got flagged for taunting with after his awesome TD leap? I didn't see it. Jump shot complete with follow through. I guess they got upset that he showed better form than most of the Knicks. Or the NFL wasn't too happy he was promoting another sport on their airtime. If he scores another touchdown, he should totally do a hockey slapshot motion complete with goal celebration. Following that he can run backwards waving a flag. Guest Felonies! Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Well, Grossman sure blew this game for us.

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Looks like Miami's going to end Chicago's unbeaten run. They scored again to go up by 15 with 10 minutes left. Does this mean they'll keep getting compared to the '85 Bears, losing to Miami and all?
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Well, Grossman sure blew this game for us. Its amazing it took 9 weeks to hear that. RAVENS WIN! RAVENS WIN! 6-2 with a 2 game lead on Cincy in the Division.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 The refs really dicked Cincy today.
Guest Felonies! Report post Posted November 5, 2006 So are the Bears going to end up 7-4 after the next three weeks or what.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 I dont know why the fuck the Ravens wouldnt kick the FG there to go up 9. Now they're only up 6 and the bengals have the ball with :18 to go no timeouts. Mcallister with an INT to end it for real.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Oh, boy. ANOTHER last second win attempt for Cincinnati. It hasn't been good for them this year with this. Marv, they didn't go for the FG because a blocked FG is highly probable in that situation and the defense is more trusted to shut them down again as they did. Screw that..Stover's kicked 34 straight FGs..trust him to put the game out of reach with a 5th fg..(plus I coulda used the fantasy points..but..thats not the main argument)

Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Verne Lundquist had better be close to retiring..he's been messing up the calls all day. 23-10 Ravens now after a 51 yard FG.. Dick Enberg was calling that game I thought. Whatever. Bengals were robbed.

Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Sloppy win but a win nonetheless for the Bills. I hope to God McGahee's injury isn't severe or they're pretty fucked.

Dick Enberg was calling that game I thought. Whatever. Bengals were robbed. Well whoever it was...same goes.. and all this "the bengals were robbed" stuff is rediculous..come on..that last call on TJ whatshisname was granted, a blown call..but I think that was the only real blown call fo the whole game on either side. It was one of the better officiated games ive seen this year. And people are gonna say "the bengals were robbed"..even if they called that, they'd still have had to go 70 yards in 3 minutes for a TD...
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 And Vanderjagt is blocked. Washington can win, but it's doubtful. Maybe Vanderjagt was Indy's problem all along, and they're going to win the Super Bowl this year because they got rid of him.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 damnit..the Redskins won...I wont hear a word about the 6-2 Ravens beating the Bengals and being 2 games in first place this whole week..it'll be the 3-5 last place Redskins beating the 4-4 3rd place Cowboys.. I hope to god the Broncos squash the hell out of the Steelers.
Guest Felonies! Report post Posted November 5, 2006 I'm starting to think that Mike North (morning guy on The Score) is going too hard on Devin Hester. He's been ripping on the guy for sounding like an unintelligible idiot who should never talk, however, this also describes Mike North perfectly, who unlike Hester, is paid to talk. . . . considering all Hester did was save our fucking asses the other night. See, if you want to make fun of Hester for sounding like an illiterate goon, now's the time.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 Wow, this is not the week to be capitalizing on pools this week. Detroit, Washington and Miami all won.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 What really sucks about Chicago laying down today is that if Indy gets past NE tonight, we got a repeat of last year's undefeated discussion and Manning love. If they get around 12-0, everyone will be buzzing about the fact Miami is the final game of the season. NE must win tonight to save us all. All Indy has ahead of them is Dallas where I'm sure Vanderjagt will have a repeat of today, a Philly team that has dropped and Jacksonville, whom they already took care of. They have Cincinnati in a shoot-out but the Bengals offense has been off-balance this season. The rest is Buffalo, Miami, Tennessee and Houston.
