humanoid92 Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Is it possible to split up an MP3 into two separate tracks? For example, say the last song on a CD has a hidden track at the end of it, so there's 10 minutes of silence in between the last song and the hidden song, but they're both included on one long 20 minute track. Is there a way, on iTunes (or otherwise) that I can make a shorter MP3 and cut the 20 minute track off after the 5 minute mark so that I can just put the first song on a mix CD without wasting 20 minutes of CD space? Thanks for any help.
Guest Princess Leena Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 http://www.ezsoftmagic.com/ I think it's only a trial. There's many more out there.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 I've used GoldWave for the last 5 years. Never had a problem with it.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 If you want, you can get Audacity and the Lame mp3 encoder, then load in the file and split it, it's freeware
Kaertos Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 Believe it or not, I've used Windows Movie Maker to do exactly that. It isn't the greatest .mp3 editor around, but for simple tasks like this, it is pretty good, already on your computer (assuming you have XP) and simple to use.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Adobe Premiere does the work of 15 other devices. Get it.
