I also heard this track by Nas f/ Pitbull called "Imagine That" which not so much samples John Lennon, but all right uses him a big chunk of the song. Its one of the better rap songs I heard in a LONG time.

I think NATAS has album of the year on lockdown for me. But this cd should be better than other mainstream trash I heard this year (Clipse, Jay-Z).

theres nothing mainstream or formulaic about the clipse album. nothing. except maybe that the neptunes produced. but there production was inspired equally by underground house djs and hip hop.

 

and what is natas?

and who killed it is the worst song on the nas album. and sure, i'll admit it, that one does push the boundaries. it shows that nas should just do what he does best.
