I saw the extra match they put on Supercard Of Honor and I know of most of the workers through other smaller indies. I'm looking for something a little less 'high maintenence' than the big ROH shows, Prazak and Bauer mentioned some of the more 'classic' matches but I'm not neccessarily looking for them. It does have that relaxed nature but also provides a frentic element in the same. The shows really make you feel as if you were there live thanks to the lack of backstage skits and such with interviews in the actual "arena". I'm still in late 2005/early 2006 mode right now, although I really need to catch up especially given the increased quality of matches, stories and talent. King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2007 I had the Rumble on my to get list, simply because I'm a Rumble mark. Heartbreak Express vs. Cabana and Rinauro sounds like a winner too. A Heartbreak Express/Larry Sweeney stable in ROH would be so unbelievably good. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll pick some up and see how it catches me. The basic atmosphere seems a lot like IWA:Mid South used to be (ie when it could afford big names a lot of the time and still had Prazak on board), which is the first indy I really got into. The Flamboyance 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2007 Just finished watching Dedicated & Battle Of The Icons. I enjoyed both DVDs. Nothing super great but they were fun. BOTI comes off much better on DVD than it did live. The crowd was pretty horrible that night. I also marked when I saw myself on it. My only beef with BOTI was that even the cameramen focused a minute or two on those stupid old ladies that were dogging on Julis Smokes. I never want to see those ladies again. Those same hags cut the line all the way to the front at last Saturdays show. Man, I hate them. Next up is 5YF @ NYC and Philly. Still need to pick up the 3rd and 4th week of the 5yF but I might just download them :'( because I'm low on cash. The production quality on these DVDs have really improved a ton.
