Guest Smues Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Yes, but that doesn't mean it was a "piece of shit". It was a fine movie, but just not the movie that the fans had been waiting 20 years to see. Amen. The fact that a decent movie came out of all the shit it went through in production was amazing. I'm expecting the next one to be really great.
Ginger Snaps Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 It was decent. But don't get confused and think it was great or even really all that good.
Precious Roy Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 During the Fall Parade in my town back in the day, there was a mentally retarded lady who would dress up as Underdog every year and run around in the parade route making guest appearences. Funny shit, would air on TV. She'd bark and jump around. is this Direct to DVD? That's Underdog Lady. She used to be a regular on the Howard Stern Show.
Gary Floyd Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Also, there's a movie version of "I Am Legend" coming out in November, with Will Smith. The fact that it stars him os just one reason I'm worried. The main reason is that Hollywood is going to (most likely) ruin one of my favorite stories of all time. Normally, I don't complain about Hollywood, but this just fills me with dread. Also, I just know the "Transformers" movie is going to disappoint.
Ginger Snaps Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 How could it, when it stars Bernie Mac.
Gary Floyd Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 How could it, when it stars Bernie Mac. Or Cedric the Entertainer. I'm still worried, because again, I love this story. I think it's the geatest vampire story ever told. If antone has never read it, do yourself a favor and read it. It's damn good. I'm pretty sure that most would probsbly understand my doubts. Granted, this is actually going to be the third movie version of the story. The others are "The Last Man on Earth" and "The Omega Man."
bob_barron Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I'll go see this movie. I like dogs
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 How could it, when it stars Bernie Mac. Or Cedric the Entertainer. I'm still worried, because again, I love this story. I think it's the geatest vampire story ever told. No, that would be "Night of the Living Beowulf."
