I always love that kind of win in a battle royal. It's the smartest thing in the world to do.

Now, if only someone were sucessful at doing that in the Royal Rumble.

What happen?

Edge went through the ropes. Shawn tossed RKO and Edge snuck in and pushes Shawn out.

....weak. So instead of getting John Cena to face someone new or help push the K-fed match by having him wrestle Nitro, they do Edge vs Cena, again. Great.

Though I do get a cookie for predicting a heel would win.

The problem though is that every Rumble/Battle Royal...only ONE GUY does it, and it is almost a shoe-in that they are somehow involved in the finish. Logic would say that BY NOW, you at least have more then ONE GUY deciding to lurk around ringside, that or the guys in the ring noticing someone missing, and demanding he get back into the ring before continuing. The "he hasn't actually been eliminated" gimmick has been done to death by now, they need to find a way to put a new spin on it.

At least McMahon did commentary while not being "eliminated".
