Hank Kingsley Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 This was a pilot episode developed before this fall season by "Scrubs" guys Bill Lawrence and Neil Goldman & Garrett Donovan. It wasn't picked up for this season, but since the pilot was posted on YouTube it's garnered hundreds of thousands of views, which got the attention of NBC execs. This article mentions how NBC commissioned the shooting of "webisodes" while the team started developing scripts for potential pickup next season. Here's the pilot, Pilot Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 plus YouTube has a lot of said webisodes already, with the characters at the Emmys or talking about another show. I really don't like the leads, but the concept is really innovative and there were some big laughs. The execs are probably the strongest characters on the show. I hope this gets picked up next season, especially if Scrubs does end.
