Matt Young Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 My subscription expires on Tuesday, and I am not sure if I will be able to go out to purchase a 1 year card by then. If I am unable to renew my subscription before, the expiration date, will my account be lost forever, or can I simply recover it?
Red Baron Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Your account would be suspended I believe. It is saved to the harddrive.
In Credible Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Wouldnt they just charge your credit card on the day it expires (they did for me)?
Thoth Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 It used to be that your account was lost forever. Now, though, with the advent of the 360, you just revert to Silver mode. Accounts are permanent now.
Matt Young Posted January 20, 2007 Author Report Posted January 20, 2007 Wouldnt they just charge your credit card on the day it expires (they did for me)? They can't. It's no longer valid. And thanks for the replies... Good to know I won't lose my account.
Thoth Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Let me rephrase myself, accounts are permanent so long as the account is tied to a Windows Live Passport.
Matt Young Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Posted January 26, 2007 Hmm... it automatically renewed on that credit card I signed up with (not mine) even though said card has been deactivated since September. Whatever, I'll take it.
