NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2007 So I just rented this flick and watched it. Liked it a lot. I just have a question about the ending.... The way I interpreted it... So more or less it is in fact revealed that the "New Path" company was the ones making the drugs in the first place and I know the agents purposely got Reeves hooked on the drug so he would get taken off to the New Path place, hoping he would bring evidence out that they are behind it, so in the ending sequence, when he is walking through the fields, when he sees the purple flowers, is that the drug plant and the two guys that come up to him telling him to get back to work, basically CEOs of the company, making sure everything is running smoothly? Also, I am assuming the end is eluding to Keanu Reeves getting the evidence needed, because he picks out a purple flower and sticks it in his sock to give as a gift when he gets to go back to the facility for the holidays, am I right or wrong here?
