CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2007 This "artic blast" only validates my point earlier somewhere here on my claims that girls are just much more cuter in the winter. This is 100% incorrect. Yeah, seriously. 4-5 layers of clothing and no skin? No thanks.

Red Baron 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2007 My gal says that with weather like that, she's glader (I know it's not a word) that she moved to the sunny shores of Florida. BTW, it was a ridiculous 59 degrees here yesterday and she complained that she couldn't find her favorite hooded sweatshirt. 59? Man thats a good day to shoot a round of nine. Guest Oedipus Rex Report post Posted February 6, 2007 I love the visual of seeing a crowd of guys walking around campus and half are covered in 4-5 layers of long sleeved shirts, 2 hoodies and a t-shirt wrapped around it clutching their man purses for a 2 minute walk between buildings and then you got guys like me wearing jeans, t-shirt and a light track jacket and a ball cap waiting for it to really get cold. Aw yeah.

Guest CWMwasmurdered Report post Posted February 7, 2007 I'm glad I live in the Lower Mainland of BC, I think it's snowed twice this winter and it wasn't too much. Though with all the shitty drivers here, you'd think it was 5 feet high.

Aw yeah. I was wearing jeans, a sweater, and a wool coat, plus headphones to cover my ears. Now I know I wasn't rockin' a look like you were, but I'd like to think I was better than those pansies clutching their man purses. I really need your approval as to how well I handled single-digit cold since it's still going to be a little brisk 'round here, so if you could give me some feedback today, that'd be awesome. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2007 As for my winter garb. I have a blue jacket that I've worn every winter since 1996. I've only put in the liner 3-4 times during this span. No gloves, no boots, no scarves, no nothing. Although I do wear pants and short-sleeved shirts.

A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2007 I have become more of a pussy as time has gone on. Half mile walk to class from my parking spot. A hoodie, beanie underneath the hood, a pair of glove, and jeans. At least it was in the lower thirties. Meanwhile, as a kid, I would go outside wearing shorts and a t-shirt to take care of the garbage at a -20 wind chill.

Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2007 Winnipeg is probably the most shit-talked of all Canadian cities. On more then one occasion it's been referred to as the armpit/asshole/taint of Canada. All it seemingly has is lots of car theft, gasoline addicts and a pretty high alcoholism rate. It's not as bad as anywhere in Saskatchewan.

Don't want to spend time walking really slow. Of course this is what delivery is for. It still hasn't gotten cold around here. Just that one day when it was like 26 in the morning, but then it was like over 40 later on. I don't know what the hell that was.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 3, 2008 People who tend to live in warmer weather have thinner blood, thus they can't handle colder temperatures very well. Does this apply to people who are acclimated to warm weather, or that just live in warm weather temporarily? I ask because I NEVER got used to Miami's hot weather, but when I worked at Starbucks down there, I'd get folks rushing in the store huddling close to each other at 68 degrees, demanding hot chocolate because it's "freezing outside". Meanwhile, I'd still be working in shorts. Hell, I'm pretty good with Oregon's version of cold weather as well. I could rock just a light hoodie and jeans when it gets in the 30's, and I don't think I ever wear layers, even when it was down to 9 or so last year for that snow storm. I guess I'm a Wisconsinite at heart. Current weather conditions for Miami, FL: Currently: 41 F DOUBLE-YOU-TEE-EFF?!
