Its pretty old now so I am guessing you have all heard the story, but since so many stories are so ready to call Mayo a thugish, out of control gangsta, I have got to put up the vid here and laugh at anyone saying Mayo was in the wrong here.

First tech...okay, it was taunting, no problem. Dude pushes Mayo, okay whatever.

 

Second tech is basically a Rasheed...he got it for looking at someone because he obviously didn't say anything. But then the ref and that fall....dear lord.

 

That ref should never be allowed to ref a game again. he obviously had something out for the kid, because...comeon. Mayo goes to ask the ref what was up with the call, and the ref goes all Manu when OJ's wind hits him. Pathetic.

That was disgusting. He should not be allowed to "ref" again, but he got exactly what he wanted since this story was everywhere for a little while.

What did Mayo do by the way. To be honest, outside seeing him play like a dozen times, I don't know anything about him. Has he done alot of stupid stuff or what? You know...besides being a 18 year old junior in highschool.

Well, nothing criminal which is a plus but generally a few suspensions due to disciplinary and academic reasons that were usually disclosed. He also denied many times that he wasn't leaving NCH but ran off back to WV to play at Oak Hill, although thats fairly typical of a prep superstar. He's just a guy with a very shady past and shady friends.

 

I don't believe he's a thug because that's a media created image in relation to a prep school basketball player but he can and most likely will cause headaches at USC.
