ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Batista © [2-0] vs. The Undertaker [14-0] WWE CHAMPIONSHIP World Tag Team Champion John Cena © [3-0] vs. World Tag Team Champion "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels [5-8] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well, here's the thread. Felt like putting it up now for some reason. Matches will be added as announced. And for the record, the numbers next to their names are their WrestleMania records. theintensifier 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 Here's my predictions: (I will edit more in as they come) World Heavyweight Championship Batista © vs. Undertaker Title vs. Streak Winner: Undertaker. I seriously doubt the WWF is going to allow Batista is end Taker's reign, and I doubt Taker himself would allow that either. WWF World Heavyweight Championship John Cena © vs. Shawn Michaels Tag Team Champions Collide Winner: Shawn Michaels. Michaels proves that experience will beat out youth any day, and the Showstopper is back.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 In reference to your comments about Batista not ending Taker's reign... Last year at this time, Cena was pretty much considered DOA in his title match for WrestleMania, and he won that by submission. You never know with WWE. But playing devil's advocate, it is less likely Taker's streak will end.
Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted February 8, 2007 HBK looks to be out of playoff contention. Will he play for pride?
Promoter 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 I think Batista of 2 years ago had a stronger chance of being the guy to end the streak. It's still to early to predict for me. I think Cena's going over HBK. It will only make Cena/HHH bigger for SummerSlam or Survivor Series. That was the match they wanted to pimp anyways. The huge rematch with one DX guy down for the count in the feud makes a better story instead of HBK/HHH AGAIN!!
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 I know plans change over time, but word came out as early as late October/early November that the plan was for Batista to go over Undertaker in a "title vs. streak" match. Try to talk yourself out of it as much as you want, but everything that has happened since then would seem to indicate things are playing out as they were planned back then, and considering the Undertaker is still a part-timer at best, I just don't see the company putting a belt on him. That said, I'd love to be wrong.
