Red Baron Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 But he's a cup finalist and has played with Wayne Gretzky.
CanadianChris Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 But he's a cup finalist and has played with Wayne Gretzky. Oh, well, that's good enough.
Mike wanna be Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Ugh...McClellan should've been tossed for the playoffs, if not longer. I'm all for fighting and goon v goon (or even goon v pretty boy!), but sending in your backup goalie just to have him swing the stick at anybody that gets close is just pathetic.
packwingfn Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 If you read what the Flames said as a team, they said the fines/suspension was a little hefty also, and then you have the Canadian Media agreeing with them. What the!
CanadianChris Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Watching The Reporters on TSN this morning, the panelists were pretty much agreed that the Flames had embarrassed themselves. Maybe that's just the Calgary media.
packwingfn Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Last night Versus had a hockey show on so I figured Id watch it and it was just from the NHL Network (which is Canada right?) and they said that McLennan had the right to hit him after the hip check that Lebda did on Langkow
packwingfn Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 I don't think I'm going to make it out alive during this overtime.
CanadianGuitarist Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Looks like OT. Thirty seconds to play. Couple seconds of tense hockey after Dan Cleary POUNDS a slapshot off the post. I'm really impressed with Tanguay tonight. He's got a lot of plays going and stickhandled really well. He's really been working hard.
Annabelle Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 man the wings are just dominant. but whenever the flames get the puck in the wings zone (which is roughly every 7 minutes or so) they scare the shit out of me. kiprusoff has been their star. best goaltending performance in the playoffs. the flames would have been out in 4. my picks for the ot goals are bertuzzi and conroy
Annabelle Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 that is a horrible call during regulation, atrocious in overtime. embarrassing call.
Annabelle Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 i saw blood on the slow motion replay 4 min penalty? ouch. wings gotta score here or they're toast. total momentum killer.
Annabelle Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 fuck these refs are trying to kill the wings honestly blood is obvious. but that was hooking? come on. its overtime.
CanadianGuitarist Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 How Moss didn't find that empty net is something I will never know.
Annabelle Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 How Moss didn't find that empty net is something I will never know. hasek saved it & it deflected up.
Red Baron Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 I know CG that you do not want Christian Hussalias scoring.
CanadianGuitarist Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 See Treble's theory on his dad/Ottawa. It's not that I don't want Huselius scoring, its that I dont want TJ to talk about it until I'm dead.
Annabelle Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 its like its an nhl vs. ahl team. detroit is constantly on a 5-4 advantage. dominant. but the flames seem to have something on their side.
Red Baron Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Rhett Warnnier taking a page out of the Mike Riberio embelishing handbook.
Annabelle Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Rhett Warnnier taking a page out of the Mike Riberio embelishing handbook. i expect better out of rhett. that was weak. notice how he stuck his head up to see where the puck was. what a guy.
Red Baron Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 How Moss didn't find that empty net is something I will never know. hasek saved it & it deflected up. Hasek never touched it. Rolling puck and basically lift the puck in the air.
