A few years ago, I saw an interview with the woman who played Mrs. Arnold, and she was pissed it ended like it did, because they had no idea that was happening. They were smiling and waving at the parade, and then she saw the episode and how it had the ending narration dubbed on, and she was like "WTF?" So Daniel Stern was in on the screwjob?!
vivalaultra Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Kevin wore the same bluejeans every day for the last season cuz, like me, he figured "Meh...they're not really THAT dirty...they'll be good for another couple of days." Daniel Stern didn't know that the series was ending until the producers et al. told him and gave him the narration to read over the last scene right before it aired.
godthedog Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 watching this show again as an adult you notice how well-written the parents are. the episode where mom tries to be a substitute teacher and kevin fucks it up, and she has to shrug the whole thing off like it wasn't that important...that is almost painful to watch.
