Jessica Simpson as Jessica Sampson in a show called Jessica with executive producer Joe Simpson, that's a winner.

Tito Ortiz as Hector in The Street Lawyer.

Football Wives should be a solid show, just based on the talent involved.

This is the worst fantasy game ever.

I don't know, playing "Guess which show FOX cancels first" is a pretty interesting game.

All that matters is that NBC doesn't kill Friday Night Lights. It didn't work for tuesday and wednesday but I think it has a shot at the sunday slot after NFL ends. Just keep the show at least as a mid-season replacement for whichever CSI rip-off bombs first. I do wonder if NBC would try to slide Heroes to the signature thursday night slot.

Ah Friday Night Lights was awesome, however, I'd be content if they left it at one season as it was a good stand alone season. Wouldn't want them to over stretch FNL into a bog standard teen drama show as was feared they'd do in season 1.

PLEASE keep Veronica Mars CW. PPLEASE.

It's sad that the Pussy Cat Doll's reality show did better than a underrated serialized drama.

Haven't they all but said it was done? Has CW(WB/UPN) ever had a real hit show? I know 7th Heaven got good ratings for a period of time and Gilmore Girls as well. Buffy/Angel and Dawson's Creek had fanbases but I don't recall them being ratings hits. I wish they would keep VM but I don't think that's going to happen.

Well I read that Rob Thomas is going to make a trailer with Veronica entering the FBI (fast forwarding 4 years) and if CW likes it, then the show will continue. But I doubt that will happen. The show isn't anywhere near as good as it used to be. Especially since it looks like they dropped the big mystery and will just do single episode mysteries.

Well, good news for Veronica Mars.

"Veronica Mars" just might get a chance to grow up after all.

The fan-favorite drama is nearing a fourth season renewal, thanks to a reworking of the formula featuring the titular petite private eye. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a presentation for the proposed revamped show was well received at the CW, giving a boost to the show's chances.

If the new season gets off the ground, the show will have fast forwarded to a few years in the future, when Veronica (Kristen Bell) is studying at the FBI Academy. The move is a smart one since Bell has the chops and real-life years under her belt to play older than a co-ed. That would also free up Chris Lowell, who currently plays her pal/love interest Piz, to pursue his receptionist/beefcake duties over at ABC's "Private Practice," the "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff starring Kate Walsh.

Although Mars" is critically acclaimed and beloved by the viewers, those viewers aren't the most plentiful when it comes to the ratings game. Hope for a continued life came in the form of creator Rob Thomas' new concept as well as the cancellation of "Gilmore Girls" and "7th Heaven," which will leave the CW with a little wiggle room for the fall.

I'm honestly surprised. Glad for the show but I figured after three seasons of low ratings in spite of critical love would been enough. After NBC with FNL and Scrubs, I'm glad to see networks holding onto good shows that might not get big ratings but know they are worthwhile shows.
