Where do you find out if someone is difficult to work with?

You mean being stiff or refusing to work against certian people? For stiffness, you either look in that box on the left hand corner during PBP or in your mail. If someone doesn't want to work a feud they'll flat out tell you. If you someone is unhappy, your road agent will tell you and you can see for yourself in the "Unhappy" section of the weekly meeting.

As well as the ways mentioned above, you can also view the "EWRevenge.com" profile in the Workers screen. It says if people are easy to work with, stiff, respected by other worker, etc.

Just so you know, Adam posted a message at his board about a future update.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

i've fixed the majority of the bugs that have been reported so far, and i'm going to spend the weekend making some changes to some of the features. The next update will be in the first week of July.

In regards to some of the common problems:

-- i'm redoing the booking screen so that you can force people to job, and they will complain at each step, not at the end

-- i've changed how the women's morality works so that it is more realistic

-- i've altered how the overness changes

-- all bugs regarding feuds and sponsors have been fixed

I have not been able to replicate the problems with belts so far, but i'm looking into it. I cannot find any errors with the Loading screen that would cause it to freeze, although from talking to people, i think it may be an external problem - those who only have EWR running and aren't continually clicking on the screen seem to have it working. Those impatient people who hit ctrl-alt-del if the game hasn't loaded with 20 seconds seem to be the only people who have probs. I'll look into speeding up the process, but this may not be possible given the amount of data involved.

I've also come up with an improvement to the Internet section - it will be changed to consist of several web sites, each in a different style, so you will be able to "surf" around them like in real life.

Talk to staff will be revamped so that it is more helpful - the weekly meeting will be moved into this section, and something new (haven't decided what yet) will be on the main screen in its place.

I have gone through all the angle \ interview \ aftermath suggestions that have appeared over the past 4 days, and have a list of around 50 of the best that i will be adding gradually. These will NOT be in the next update, but will start appearing, a few at a time, in the updates after that.

Handicap matches will be added, but not for in the next update as i need to write a new set of commentary.

Auto-Booker will be added, and i've also figured out a way to do "quick booking", which will fill in several steps at a time. This will probably not be in the next update, but in the one after that.

There are also a few other features to be added - i'm going to have a "Austin" feature where if someone hits 0 morale, they simply go home and sit out the rest of their contract.

If i get time, i'll also be adding more lines of commentary to the game.

That's about it for now.

Adam Ryland

Sounds good, no?

Exactly. I'm at school so I couldn't reference the exact box but that's what I was talking about.

Also, I see most people are going the wwf route but I've found it more fun creating my own stars and letting them run with it.

I've created tag team called La Revolucion consisting of Fidel Villa and Che Zapata. Leviathan and ROn Waterman form the Sea Monkeys.

And I've gotten guys who started off as 15% over up to the low 90's.

Now I'm playing at a national level after starting out as regional. The battle to the top is truly funner than the stay up there.

That future update looks cool. It'd be nice if it could patch in to the already saved games so we wouldn't have to start over again, but that's asking a lot.

Also, has anyone else gotten mildly frustrated after having three TV deals? It's quite tough; at first I liked it, but now I've had to make note of who I want to work each show, sort of a "brand extension" of my own. I'd have no problem if I could default one of my shows to be smaller, say, requiring only a few segments, like Heat, but having three 8 segment shows a week is a royal, royal pain.

And hey, here's another question: is XWF really supposed to start with 17,000,000, or did I screw something up?

at first i found it frustrating but i have actually shortened the amount of feuds i have running at one time. i use the third show to build up the jobbers with the sole purpose of putting guys over and having good matches. Right now, I only have 5 feuds running so they all get plenty of time to be executed on the ppv.

also, where did you find future updates?

This game rocks already. Now with those fixed bugs, I'm never gonna get any sleep...or find time to masturbate.

Thanks for the help guys. I also find the idea of building your own fed more appealing than playing as the WWF. I have Erin Bray at 55% over and my only feud is at 83% which is a shame since it looks like I am about to have my farewell show. I am starting to suspect that going into debt is worse when you have a loan to pay back. I am wondering if I would be able to stay in debt longer if I didn't have a loan to pay the bank. To counteract that, I'm going to try running with a barebones crew and trying to make slwo gains in profit through my sponsors.

BTW, for those of you who want to see the much-praised Erin Bray in action, she's one of the NWA-TNA girls and competed in the Lingerie Battle Royal which will air next week.

Why is Erin Bray a man in this game?

Well, that's a revelation. I think it is a different Erin Bray because this one starts in the backyard fed and is 19 years old. Or Adam Ryland screwed up and created the greatest American Ladie's Wrestler of all-time.

Exactly my thoughts, Big.

I mean... I have EWR AND just recently bought GTA3 for PC... I'm not going to leave the house for a LONG time.

Yes, the XWF does start with $17,000,000 probably because of Jimmy Hart backing it.

As for the patches, I think they will be posted at either:

http://ewrcentre.cjb.net/

OR

http://www.tanc-online.co.uk/ew/

hey does anyone know if the updates concerning the japanese organizations affects your current game. like if i upload the japanese rosters will I be able to contract them in my current game?

I have loved this game so far. I played with the WWE for awhile, but that became kind of dull. I worked on trying to get the PCW National, but that failed miserably since I was losing hand over fist, so I gave it up.

Now, I am trying the WWA. Essentially, I am making it the same fed as my PCW was with the same main eventers using Chad Collyer, Erin Bray, Mitch Paradise, American Dragon, Ash Parker, and Seven as the guys I want to build around, while plugging in everyone else who gets over in there as well.

I hate the fact that WWA signs a bunch of morons to HUGE contracts though. I was still have yet to be able to clear the huge contracts out of the way. On the flip side, when I do, I will actually make a profit, since I have like $700,000 in crap contracts. All I have to do is ride those out until my characters finally get over. I have Erin at 62 Heat, and rapidly rising, Coryell has 53 Heat, as Erin and he are in a feud that is rapidly rising in heat. Meanwhile, Seven is working his promo magic in getting a feud with JR Ryder over. I have Hogan and Steiner feuding over the Promotional belt. Not a bad feud. Too bad I am about to have Steiner go over huge, thus zapping Hogan's heat away so I can get rid of him. If all goes as planned I will have Hogan and Road Dogg out of there by this month. Then I have to decide what to do with Steiner, Disco, and Christopher Daniels. All are not bad, I just feel they are overpaid, especially with my company trying to not lose money. I love the game though, especially if I am able to some day get WWA to compete with the WWE. At this point I am pulling ratings of 2.66 for Tuesday Night Turmoil on USA, and 0.14 for Inferno on Comedy Central, which is an improvement over the .05 I was pulling when I first signed with Comedy Central. I am going to take a wild guess that signing on with Comedy Central was a BAD idea. Ah well. Either they will cancel me, or I will slowly crawl up to respectable ratings on Comedy Central. It cannot be that hard. I just hope they cancel me, so I can go to a, you know, REAL network.

Something that ticks me off..

It'll say that "___ fired/released ______" and when you go to hire them, they're already gobbled up. -_- Frustrating.

Another thing. How the living hell do you go about getting a TV deal?

I think you set up promotional tapes and send them to the network of your choosing. I managed to get NBC to pick me up and reinstated Saturday Night Main Event, baybee! I'm getting 8.0 ratings.

Just go to television and send out promo tapes. At the beginning of the next month, you get offers.

How did you get NBC?!

By lowering my risk level enough for them to get me a deal. I've seen increased the risk level ever so slightly to see what I can pull off. Though I don't know if the 'risk factor' does anything.

Or you can just go to the editor and set it up from there. It's easier.

Nope, the changes will only effect a new game.

As for how risky you can be on certain networks, here is the formula to figure it out:

100 - TV Networks Morality= Maximum Risk Level

For example: MTV has a morality of 10, so 100-10= 90.

My fed: NWA

Top Roster:

Hogan

Hall

Nash

Austin

Goldberg

Vader

Aj Styles (90 popularity)

Shamrock and Tanaka are now at around 70 draws. They were both in good feuds, so I don't know what happend.

I need some tag teams though. All I have are York and Mathews, The Outstiders, The West hollywood Blondes, and the headbangers.

BTW, my TV deals are MTV and USA.

I'm learning how to be cheap son of a bitch in this game! I bring in guys under a verbal agreement and fire them right after the show so that I don't have to pay them. I hope my federation becomes a small one soon because My top guy's contract is about to expire and he wants to move to greener pastures and I have a hunch that Erin Bray may be stolen from me. I have a question: does anyone know if a guy with a month left on his contract will work for you for the current month as well as the next month? This is going to be a key factor because my top guy needs to drop the belt to Erin Bray before he leaves.
