Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted October 2, 2002 Sean Waltman did a sit out. He came to shows late so I made Kaz Hayashi (53 over) go over Sean Waltman. He got pissed I guess. So I just made him lose again. I eventually offered him a release.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 2, 2002 oi! Kurt Angle got injured 3 days after becoming Unfied champion and about to get a large push and feud with Jericho. Angle will be out four months. The worse part about it is that i had made their fued official the day before his injury. Instead of messing up their overness i'm going to keep the feud idle and pick it up once Angle returns. Glad i didn't retire the World Title before he got injured. I'm going to give Jericho the World title while Angle is out. I'll just have to do another unification match between the two. On the bright side, this is my perfect chance to job HHH out to Jericho in a feud. In other news Vince Mcmahon is retiring this month. Since Vince is my #1 heel and Shawn Micheals is my #1 face I've decided to feud them this month just so i can get the pay day out of Vince before he retires. It's funny that these two are my top two guys when i've never even had Vince on tv and Shawn is my commish and has been seen about 4 times in 8 months. Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted October 2, 2002 A mistake on my earlier post...I'm actually in March 2005. I continually try to buy out my competitors (interest is going down, and XWF, ROH, NWA Wildside, etc. all tend to fall in status) but no one budges. I try to steal the talent, but same thing...no one budges. I checked the stats of some of the guys, and they've improved HUGELY. I wanted to steal Daniels from ROH, and he has a 96 over! The only companies that remain are XWF, NWA:TNA, NWAW, Atlanta Gold Combat, WWE, and NEPW. I tried buying NEPW out at least, and maybe send a few guys to development, but they won't sell. So, as I mentioned, I'm signing everyone up that I can, sticking those that need improvement in development, and keeping others on the main roster, even if I use them sparingly. I really lucked out signging Benoit, and NWA:TNA over the course of the game has lent me the most for my roster (I got Brian Lee, Jorge Estrada, Sonny Siaki, Steve Corino, Ken Shamrock, Jimmy Yang and Monty Brown from them...the only one I stole was Yang, so I could put he and Kaz together). Mike Sanders, David Flair and American Dragon have been my biggest success stories. David and Mike have each had 100 over at various points, and Dragon is currently at 91 over, but I'm proud of him since his overness is in the 30's when you start I think. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 2, 2002 I just bought out XPW. The owners of feds don't seem to like selling out to WWF unless they are desperate. Also i may be about to recieve my first real competition as MLW just got a TV deal with CBS for Monday nights.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted October 3, 2002 Whoo hoo...Ken Shamrock left NWA! His debut match was with Johnny Smith. Pretty good match. Oh yeah, as soon as juvi's fued ended, he became 96 over. The next day he got into a backstage brawl.... go figure.
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted October 3, 2002 In my 1994 WWF, I have the rest of the year figured out. Bret is in a feud with Shawn Michaels right now up till Mania 11. Bret will win the match, ending the feud, and hopefully killing Michaels' heat so I can fire him. Bret will go over Razor @ Backlash, and get into a feud with Benoit in May. They'll fight at Judgment Day, with Bret pulling out a win, and Benoit will go over at King of the Ring. Benoit v. Owen will go SummerSlam, Vengence, and blow off at Unforgiven. After that, Benoit will feud with Bret again, No Mercy, SurSer and blow off at Armageddon. Then, Bret v. Dynamite Kid will start the next year. The Intercontinental is held by Dynamite Kid. He'll be dropping it to Rob Van Dam at Backlash. RVD will have the belt for the rest of the year. I figured all of this out during class today.
Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted October 3, 2002 Shark Boy is the best overall in this game. His charisma is 100, he has superstar look, and his stats are really good too.
Guest Insanityman Report post Posted October 4, 2002 Oh, I hate Juvi. I KNOW this would happen, but everything was jolly then he gets in trobule with drugs. Fine, I ignore it. Go to finish his push and he injures his neck.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted October 4, 2002 LoL @ Insantity. Juvi gets in brawls and show up late all the time. No drugs yet. Stone cold got injured again. Last time it was for 8 months, he had about 6 months of wrestling time, now he's injured again for 6 months. He was the top draw too. Super Crazy was the top face, but he was injured for 16 fucking months. Glad he dropped the belt to Chris Candido first.
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 OK, Adam went a bit crazy with HHH's attitude. HHH refuses to feud with everyone in the WWE. I signed Austin, HHH refused to feud with him, despite Austin being more over than HHH. He's also refused a fued with Rock, Mean Mark, and Kane. I demoted him to jobber and sent him to OVW. Sophie says he's unhappy and wants to leave. Oh no, he's not getting off that easy. HHH, meet curtain jerking Heat against American Dragon.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I haven't had trouble with HHH yet. But of course i've only had him in good feuds so far. He'd be down to jobber to the stars right now if it wasn't for Angle getting hurt. Once Angle returns HHH will become JTTS, so i may have problems then. Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I'm still in October of 2002 in this WWE slot. Angle starts at a 95 heat, I got him over to 100 in 1 match by turning him on Rhyno in a tag match. Angle v. Rhyno for the Raw title? I'm there. HHH is about to set the national indoor record for most jobs in 1 show. There's what 11 segments on 1 show? MUHWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I have it planned to be: American Dragon Billy Gunn Rey Misterio Booker T Rob Van Dam Bubba Ray Dudley Matt Hardy Chuck Palumbo Funaki Chavo Guerrero Rob Van Dam (again, I know)
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I just got my third Five Star match. Rob Van Dam vs Rhyno : Stiff high kick on Rhyno by Rob Van Dam who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Kick from Rob Van Dam to the leg. Rhyno takes a flying neckbreaker from Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam hits a rolling kick on Rhyno. Rhyno pushes out of a Rob Van Dam hold. Rhyno with a spinning neckbreaker on RVD. Spear by Rhyno. Cover for a two count. Rob Van Dam pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. RVD crushes Rhyno with a running senton. There's a two count on the pin. Shining Wizard on Rhyno, RVD really laid that one in. Pin, but Rhyno is out just before the three count. Rhyno blocks the suplex attempt. Rhyno fires off some right and left hands. RVD pushes out of a Rhyno hold. Second rope flying axe handle, Rhyno goes down. The referee tries to separate the two grapplers...and gets knocked over and trampled on as they brawl! That's enough, the referee calls for the bell - double DQ! A ***** rating for a superb bout! RVD vs. Rhyno is shaping up to be an extremely hot fued and it's only been going for a week. Neither wrestler is going to cleanly win until the ppv where the newly created TV title will be up for grabs.
Guest Leena Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I finally got my Backyard fed to Global today. It feels rewarding coming from $0 to over $45 million. WWE still won't release Angle, even though they've released every single other wrestler. Sigh.
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted October 5, 2002 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! I made a huge mistake... I accepted Mickey Whipreck's deal without knowing what the hell it meant when some other promoter gave me money and some percentage I accepted it. I didn't know that by accepting it, I would switch from WWE to MLW. With all that hardwork gone to a mistake, how do I go back in time and undo the deal I accepted?? Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted October 5, 2002 Samething happened to me Electrifyer a few versions back. I built a backyard fed and gotten up to national. I forgot what fed it was , but they offered me to run it. I figured I would be able to run both of them. It sucked when I found out I couldn't.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted October 6, 2002 After 1 year as TCW, we have went Global. My headliners are TAKA, Dick Togo, Rey Jr, Johnny Smith, Masato Tanaka, Keibler, Sanders, Severn, Venis, Blue Boy, Big Show. Surprisingly, even though we are in a boom period, over 10 other federations died. This new feature where wrestlers actually develop in the Developmental fed kicks ass. Thus far it has helped Nidia, Shark Boy and Seven IMMENSELY. That's about it. Just wanted everyone to know that Dusty is on the road to being #1...IF YOU WEEEEEEEEEL! Guest Leena Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Unless you copied your save files, you're screwed. I'd recommend doing that for long games, because 1 misclick and your entire game can be screwed.
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Check out my new Sunday Night Show: HHH is currently on a 33 match losing streak. He still hasn't gone home, so he continues to job.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Why do you have Shark Boy in the developmental? He's like one of the best guys in the game.
Guest Leena Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Check out my new Sunday Night Show: HHH is currently on a 33 match losing streak. He still hasn't gone home, so he continues to job. Guest kingkamala Report post Posted October 6, 2002 in my WWE i made Booker T win his fued against HHH and HHH didn't lose overness, Booker T just gained 11 overness from the end of the fued
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Why do you have Shark Boy in the developmental? He's like one of the best guys in the game. He was down there for maybe 3 months, just to get his overness to around 50. When I picked him up he was in the 40's, which I consider a bit too low for a wrestler on a Global promotion's TV shows. Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted October 6, 2002 HHH lost 11 points of overness from HHH Jobs. His condition went from 100 to 23 and his morale went to 0. The funny thing was that he didn't refuse a job to Scotty 2 Hotty, but he refused a job to Mean Mark. He still hasn't gone home yet!! I'm waiting for him to Austin his contract and go home, but he keeps showing up so he can job. HHH Jobs got a 2.8 rating, with an event quality of 79. He was slow and sluggish in every match which brought the match quality down.
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Man, that HHH Jobs idea is hilarious. I wish I could do that, but HHH already agreed to his release when I de-pushed him to a jobber.
Guest Insanityman Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Is it even possible to buy-out WWE? That's my goal of the game... heh, I threw Shark Boy in development to get him over AND I have a bunch of SWF guys who as some realy jacked up stats. I wanna' play WWE just to job out Taker and Trips.
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted October 6, 2002 How do you steal wrestlers from other feds? I read about it in the EWR guide, but I just can't firgure out how to actually steal someone. Can somebody tell me how?
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Go to other wrestlers, in the search criteria section there is a little box towards the bottom. Check it off. You are only able to sign guys on verbal contracts.

I wanna' play WWE just to job out Taker and Trips. Yes, but only with the latest update. WWF will eventually release almost all of its roster during a downtime, and if you're in position to sign them, they'll go down soon.
