I'm in April of 2006. Industry is at 39% and slumping. I've got 100 workers on my roster (5 in training camp and about 20 in developmental, though some of them are starting to bitch about being stuck there). I keep waiting for other companies to release some high level guys (This month I'm hoping that Jericho, Undertaker, or Killings get releases, as they are "rumored to be leaving"). I also spend a lot of time getting the lesser paid workers over, that way if I have to cut back, I can keep them and still get high ratings/overalls on my matches and shows.

How do you put someone in Training Camp? All I can do is send people to Developmental, but not training.

It's getting really boring, because all the current wrestlers are retiring, and it's all created players.

You have to send them to training camp when you sign them. You can't send guys that are already on your roster to camp.

 

The only guys that may agree to go to camp are usually the ones under 25 years old.

The farthest I've gotten so far is 3 years in my 1994 WWF. Since I have all 8 slots saved in, I try to mix it up whenever I play.

Ummmm... can someone tell me how a Network will pick you up? I sent out promo tapes, now do I just wait for a network to give me a deal or is there something else I must do?

You just have to wait. You can only send out on promo tape a month, though.

Yeah, you're below their allotted morality.

 

100 - 10 = 90

 

Since your risk level is at 85, you are under the maximum risk level allowed.

Check the EWR board, or I can send you 1996, 1994 and 2001.

 

Simply create a copy of the files in your data folder, and move the files into another folder you create. Call it "olddata" or something. Then, unzip the scenerio, copy the data files from the scenerio into your data folder and voila!

I have a problem...

 

I started a WWE game, and giot rid of all the former IYH PPVs by clicking "remove event". So now it's the end of December and they want me to book some PPV with no damn name.

 

"What's up wit dat?", as Hurricane Helms used to say...

 

Yeah, anyway. I'm gonna try looking back through the thread and seeing if this has been addressed before.

Hmm, I just did that with my 1996 WWF, and it's a bug in the game. I cancelled the show, but it drops your PI. I say just run the show anyway, and post this on the EWR message board.

When you click next day on the last Sunday of the month with no PPV planned it's suppose to say something like "You have no PPV scheduled for this month Are you sure you wish to continue".

 

Clicking ok on that will skip the PPV.

I don't really want to use the file editor and restart the game, but... Eh. I'm only two months in and hardly established. I just hate booking.

FYI, the '97 scenario OWNS. It's split up into the "Big Three", so I went with the WWF. Couple of notes...

 

--Everything Bret/Owen/Shawn does turns to GOLD.

--The "future" stars (Edge, Christian, Test, D'Lo, Hardyz, Rico, etc.) begin in your developmental area, while I signed Daniels/Corino/Lynn/Kanyon/Rhino/Noble to go there as well. Developing stars kicks mucho ass.

--WCW was totally raping WWF as I began the game, but with a few cuts and some key additions (Hennig, Angle and Shamrock), the fed is beginning to turn around.

--Watching ECW kick and squirm to keep their stars is great. Actually, it must be fun owning that fed from the start...I might try that out later on...
