Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted November 6, 2002 damn wrestlers... Austin Lee, American Dragon, Johnny Grunge all want to go to a different Promotion (Main Eventers, all of them are in the high 60 in Overness). And I'm hurting as, Trent Acid, Essa Rios and Wifebeater are all injured
Guest What? Report post Posted November 6, 2002 Man, after I repackaged Trent Acid and Jonny Kashmere as just Acid and Kashmere, and gave them both minor pushes, they've been over like crazy. Kashmere's the World Champ and is feuding with K Money, and Acid's feuding (alongside fellow D-Generation XXX member Low Ki) against RVD and Sabu over the Tag Titles. My last ***** match was The Backseat Boyz v. RVD/Sabu v. K Money/Justice Pain: TLC Match for the Tag Titles. RVD and Sabu won Just now had another great match (I love being able to surf the net and book a PPV at the sme time!) Justice League of America (Hurricane/Nick Mondo/Rey Misterio) d. Team Canada (Lance Storm/Chris Benoit)/Kurt Angle Hurricane's feuding with Storm, Mondo v. Benoit, and Misterio v. Angle. All feuds are above 90 over. I rule SO hard! Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted November 6, 2002 http://ravexgames.ewessentials.co.uk/ewrscenarios.html pretty much every year except 95. oh and everyone NEEDS to download the Best Of 80's scenario. It fucking owns. Yeah it does. I've been playing all day. Very in-depth. Oh, STRITEC, the email address you gave me doesn't work. Oh? Uhm.. sorry dude. Don't worry about it. Why isn't it working...? Hm. (*Downloads '96*) I'll try Best Of The '80s when I get sick of destroying 1996.

Guest bob_barron Report post Posted November 7, 2002 My first ever ***** match- Styles \ HBK vs Tanaka \ Sabu vs The Truth \ Jarrett : Styles hits a dropkick on Ron Killings. Spear by Shawn Michaels. Whip into an upright table by HBK. AJ Styles blasts Sabu with a slingshot into the ladder. Jeff Jarrett hits a bulldog off the ropes. Super kick by AJ Styles. Flying DDT off the middle rope by AJ Styles, onto a chair. Masato Tanaka scoops up Styles. Sabu bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Brutal powerbomb on HBK. Massive backbreaker, The Truth got planted. Early reports indicate that the back was *not* actually broken, so the move's name should actually be backhurter. Jeff Jarrett throws the ladder into Tanaka. Big backdrop on Sabu, executed well. Jeff Jarrett scoop slams Sabu onto and through a table. Back heel kick off the second rope, Jarrett goes flying. Flying shoulder tackle by HBK sends Tanaka to the mat. Death valley driver by Shawn Michaels, Sabu got planted. AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels go up the ladder and grab the prize for the win. Excellent match, a ***** rating!

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 7, 2002 I'm using NWA in my Best of the 80's. I know it's the easy fed to use, but i just have to play with the fed that has Flair and Steamboat.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 8, 2002 I'm the WWF. We're doing pretty pretty good thanks to a few lucky signings. I drove Stampede out of business so i picked up some good talent cheap.

I still haven't been the WWF, and never really had any desire to.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted November 8, 2002 I had to start a new fed since my other save was crashing every week...which meant that the market was stuck at the same number. Right now I'm building up new talents. Inducted 20 people in training camp. Plan to leave them there for a year or 2. I picked up the top free agents of course. Guest Leena Report post Posted November 8, 2002 I'm in year 2037 with my created fed. I just auto book every show now since it's rather boring... I'm to the point just to see how long it can go.

Mostly because I fired Warrior and they picked him up...but I stole the Road warriors.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted November 8, 2002 I started two best of the 80's games: One World Class and one NWA. World Class looks like it'll be tough, as very few guys have enough charisma to pull off worthwhile promos. Oh well, I love a challenge. My current game, WWA, is still thriving. I just bought out ROH (FINALLY!) and got Christopher Daniels, Low Ki, CW Anderson (was 89 over...he was in my fed originally until an injury, so I Bischoffed him "a few years ago") and some other worthwhile talent. Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted November 8, 2002 I used Stampede because they start out with talented guys, and charismatic managers. Dynamite has gotten over well. I wish I had Bret Hart, though. I started an NWa game, and it's like being WWE in the regular EWR. There are so many talented, over, charismatic guys, that it's too easy. I did turn RNR Express Heel and MX face. Cornette manages RNR now.
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted November 8, 2002 When you get one of those old scenarios, what does setting back your PC clock do exactly? How does it improve gameplay?
Guest papacita Report post Posted November 8, 2002 When you get one of those old scenarios, what does setting back your PC clock do exactly? How does it improve gameplay? Just makes it so that the game starts in the scenario's time period rather than 2002 and 2003. BTW...in 96 ECW I'm about to go bankrupt on my second month... Guest papacita Report post Posted November 8, 2002 I'm not sure what I did. I did everything it told me to do except get rid of Shane Douglas (who had a $150,000 contract but was also the most over person on the roster). My cards were all high 60's and low 70's, and I just picked up a TV deal, but somehow I'm in $20,000 debt.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted November 8, 2002 It actually told you to fire a certian wrestler?
Guest papacita Report post Posted November 8, 2002 Nah, it said to cut the roster down to about 37 and to keep salaries around $70,000, and Shane's was pretty high for whatever reason. Also, I had to pay Heyman's $125,000 salary, which I don't understand considering that he owned the company and wasn't even an on-air personality in 96. Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted November 9, 2002 You can just get rid of some of your lesser talent. How much $$$ do you start with.
Guest papacita Report post Posted November 9, 2002 $1,000,
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted November 9, 2002 That's a good amount. Tips: -Don't even come within 10 workers of Sophie recommended roster. Use charismatic, talented guys and keep the roster to a bare minimum. -Don't hire writers until you can afford to. Too much excess money. Granted, it's not a lot, but it's some. -Run PPV's every month. More money comes in. -Use the advertising cheat. Yeah, I'm not proud of it, but my RoH used it. That's all I can think of. I started with RoH with 1.5 million and it worked for me. Hope that helps.
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted November 9, 2002 So what's the advertising cheat? Is that just going in to the File Editor and jacking up your sponsors before you start?... I wish that there was a way around booking, at all. I'm so terrible at it.
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted November 9, 2002 The advertising cheat is: Set advertising to the highest it can go, and before the beginning of the next month, change it to 0, so that you advertise to get people to come to the shows, but don't pay for it.
