Guest Smues Report post Posted May 8, 2007 I'd say no because you change your name too much, but McBeef sucks so ok.
Guest George's Box Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Banky's been changing his name for years! But thanks, Smues.
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Brad Penny has 10 K's through 4 innings against the Marlins. 12 through 5. HOT DAMN!
Slayer 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Does that mean we can't say the T word?
vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Didn't see anybody mention it, but the Yankees sent Kei Igawa to A-ball. How much did they sign him fer again?
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Penny proving to be the surprise of the year. I thought his elbow would fall off for sure, by now. Fantasy tip for all you players: Whoever is starting against the Nationals, take them.
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2007 I feel bad for Jack Bauer. He said that Dice-K was the next Irabu when the next Irabu was sitting under his nose.
vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Dice-K might not be the next Hideki Irabu, but he still might be the next Hideki Nomo; I doubt he'll be the next Hideki Matsui, however. Edit: Hideki Nomo? Who the Hell's Hideki Nomo? Ah, Hell, I'll leave it and hope that nobody notices.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Brad Penny nearly matched his season total of 15 strikeouts with 14 K's against the Marlins.

Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Oh, and we should still trade Brad Penny. Sell high.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Josh Hamilton went 0 for 4 with 2 K's. Oh noez. And when will the Reds realize that Adam Dunn is very good at baseball. And stop fucking batting him 6th.
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Smues, please change my name to George's Box. LOL. You could do the whole song man.
World's Worst Man 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Oh, and we should still trade Brad Penny. Sell high. Given that he started well last year and then fell completely apart in the second half, that's probably not a bad idea.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Brewers beat the pitiful Nationals 3-0. Geoff Jenkins was all the offense with a 3-run homerun, Capuana pitched 8 innings, and Cordero got another save.
vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 The Brewers might never lose another game. Ever.
devo 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 The umpires in the Mets/Giants came just made a terrible call, saying that a Bengie Molina flyball that hit the top of the wall and bounced back onto the field was a home run. Really embarassing. Edit: And now a Barry Zito single followed by two straight errors leads to a three-run Rich Aurilia homer. Lovely.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Bob Dernier joined the Phillies in the broadcast booth today. Dernier hit quite possibly the greatest inside-the-park home run in baseball history. http://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1989/B05150PHI1989.htm
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 8, 2007 The Brewers might never lose another game. Ever. If they played the Nationals every game, maybe.
strummer 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 When Oliver Perez unravels. he really fucking unravels Edit: After all these god damn years Rich Aurilia still kills the Mets UGH
strummer 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 And now we are in complete farce mode as Benjie Molina just hit his second homerun of the inning
KingPK 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 So Joel Zumaya's gonna be out 12 weeks. That really sucks especially considering Fernando Rodney's been pitching like ass so far this season. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2863225 Someone got the 360 version of Guitar Hero, it looks like. Certainly Dice-K won't be the next Hideki Matsui. You know, since one is a pitcher and the other is a position player and all.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 I feel bad for Jack Bauer. He said that Dice-K was the next Irabu when the next Irabu was sitting under his nose. Irabu2 has only been in the bigs for 5 weeks, give it time.
cd213 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 The umpires in the Mets/Giants came just made a terrible call, saying that a Bengie Molina flyball that hit the top of the wall and bounced back onto the field was a home run. Really embarassing. Edit: And now a Barry Zito single followed by two straight errors leads to a three-run Rich Aurilia homer. Lovely. Umps in both NY games made horrible calls. The one in the Yankee game that called the Mariner safe on a stolen base was pathetic. He was out by like 5 feet. And I HATE the Yankees.
cd213 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Don't know if this belongs here but it is baseball related: From ESPN.com In fact, Ortiz isn't 100 percent certain he hasn't taken steroids himself. He told the Herald that when he was a young player in the Dominican Republic, he used to drink protein shakes for sale there. He explained he no longer does so because he can't be sure they don't include banned substances. "I tell you, I don't know too much about steroids, but I started listening about steroids when they started to bring that [stuff] up, and I started realizing and getting to know a little bit about it," Ortiz told the Herald. "You've got to be careful. ... I used to buy a protein shake in my country. I don't do that any more because they don't have the approval for that here, so I know that, so I'm off of buying things at the GNC back in the Dominican. But it can happen anytime, it can happen. I don't know. I don't know if I drank something in my youth, not knowing it." At least David Ortiz, who never tested positive came out and said something about it. He's the first player to not tesdt positive to say he might have taken the stuff. He's got balls
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 9, 2007 So, Jesse Jackson and his racist group met with the Braves about how they don't have enough black players. It's time like this I'm embarrassed living in this country...
