Question About "When Worlds Collide" PPV

Recommended Posts

I just got around to watching most of the When Worlds Collide PPV from 24/7 (taped it before it expired), and was wondering a couple of things.

First - and I couldn't find the answer to this in the WWE 24/7 thread - why is the 3rd fall essentially edited out of the hair vs mask match? I know piledrivers are involved, but has WWE edited out any other piledrivers?

Second, what does the "IWC" (IWC and AAA) in the presentation stand for? I know WCW was involved somehow, but why wasn't WCW just used in the presentation, and what role exactly did WCW play?

The same match was on Eddie Guerrero's dvd. Did it receive the same treatment then?

I think match was shown in full, without the haircuting

I don't know this but maybe IWC was for International Wrestling Council? It's the only thing I can think of. As far as the PPV, I don't know exactly why that 3rd fall wasn't shown since it was on Eddie's DVD. Maybe they are just idiots and there is no good answer.

Just checked real quick and it seemed to be the complete match on Eddie's DVD. Perhaps they edited it because of Octagon's injury? They showed him on the screen quite a few times throughout the third fall and when there was action in the ring they had a little block in the corner of the screen with him as well. Don't know what else could have caused it.
