Nightwing Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Shoot me. I will never hear the end of this. Oh calm down. At least you're within driving distance of it.
CanadianGuitarist Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 It was just mentioned that the Neidermayer's will be the first brother tandem to win a Cup on the same team since Brent and Duane Sutter did so for the Isles in 82-83. I didn't realise they had started that early.
Guest Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Shoot me. I will never hear the end of this. Oh calm down. At least you're within driving distance of it. I'm a Kings fan. Why the fuck should I be happy.
Red Baron Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Giggy or Scott Neidermyer. Congrats to Teemu Selanne though. I'm happy for him.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Too bad Paul Kariya couldn't still be with Anaheim right now after all he did for the franchise.

Why the fuck should I be happy. Because you can see the fucking Cup, rather than me, who would have to get a cross-continental flight? Christ, it's gotten further and further from Lansing for me. I was hoping it'd go to Ottawa so I could see it for the first fucking time in 5 years. Lighten up a bit. If you really believe the Ducks are a Dynasty like your post refuting me says you do, you should get used to it and make the best of it. And Giguere is getting the Conn Smythe, no question.
Guest Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 I don't want to see the Cup until the Kings win it. If that means I never see it, then I never see it.
Nightwing Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 If that's your view, fair enough. I personally just like to see it when it comes to town, and I couldn't get to Detroit when the Hurricanes won it.
Red Baron Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 I saw the cup in 93 when Brian Bellows brought it to St. Kitts.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 I saw it last year at the Caniac Carnival. As for Teemu Selanne, he has just had one of his most productive seasons since 1998-1999. Retirement may tempt him, but he still has alot left in the tank.
CanadianGuitarist Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 He used to date my daycare teacher. Her name was Miss Debbie.
Red Baron Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Fuck off Gary Bettman. You are scum, and are the most hated man in hockey.
packwingfn Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 BOOOO PRONGER HAS TOUCHED THE CUP But Selanne, Man that brought a smile to my face
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Kind of surprised Pronger and Selanne didn't kiss the cup.
CanadianGuitarist Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 BOOOO PRONGER HAS TOUCHED THE CUP But Selanne, Man that brought a smile to my face Yeah, I cant deny the Selanne comment either. This will be probably his most memorable image after him shooting his glove when he scored 76 in Winnipeg.
JustJoe2k5 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Only a little over two weeks until the entry draft.
packwingfn Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 I am muting the pronger interview But his wife is hot
Red Baron Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 True, hopefully my cousin gets drafted this year. You wonder how much longer does Brad May, Scott and Rob Neidermyer have left. They are getting up there in age too.
Guest Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Only a little over two weeks until the entry draft. Oh yeah. I can't wait. The one positive about this season is going to be seeing what our pick gets traded for.
Star Ocean 3 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 If I were a player skating with the Cup, I wouldn't kiss it, just rub my face against it. Of course, I don't know how to skate, so that probably won't happen.

They are getting up there in age too. Eh, I can see the brothers lasting a while longer. Maybe three or four years (together); enough time for the Ducks to get at least some stop-gap players lined up to take their places. And I could really care less about Brad May...
packwingfn Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Did it seem like the Ducks were rushing through the cup passing, like it was a hot potato? ENJOY IT, go skate around the ice some more. Oh well, is it October yet? Also did it feel weird how fast the coverage was too? It was like NBC saying to hurry up so the ratings don't get worse....
