Even with the whodunit part....can they really even say? Cause the culprit will have to be put in prison for a long ass time over murder or attempted murder.

"For the crime of attempted murder, I'm giving you a 5% paycut"

"AWWWWWWWWW!"

Seriously though, pro wrestling is exempt from all sorts of assault and murder laws. This is common knowledge. We could spend an entire week drawing up a list of times where someone really should have been locked up for commiting a crime on national TV, but just ended up getting punished by being booked against the victim on PPV or something.

And no, that wasn't a Randy Orton joke.

And you can blame that logic on the Four Horsemen, since I'm watching the DVD right now...and specifically the scene where they assaulted Dusty Rhodes in a parking lot and broke his hand.

Well, with the Horsemen that stuff sorta blurred the lines with the various times they attacked Dusty in the ring as well. Ditto the NWO. There were attacks but for the most part it was wrestlers beating someone up within some basic context of wrestling. We didn't see Hogan planting a bomb on Piper's car in order to get out of facing him at Starrcade.

They can't not arrest someone for this, if it turns out to not just be Vince faking his own death in storyline terms. This is really opening Pandora's Box since people on WWE TV are not fictional characters that exist only in a movie or TV show. Or maybe some are and some aren't. For instance John Cena is simply himself, so if he was "killed" on TV people might wonder if it's real as opposed to some absurd UT or Kane angle where it's obviously not the real guy. With Vince he might be playing the TV character Mr. McMahon but he still IS Mr. McMahon in real life.

No. It's fictional reality. That's been the design for WWE for years. It's perfectly within the universe of WWE to explain why nothing happens. Getting hung up on "reality" about fictional reality is about as dumb as making a issue of title linage.

Remember just how bad the debut of ECW on Sci-fi was? This week was equally that horrible. I thought the main-event tag would be good, but even that was crap. A truly awful show.

I really hope this Mcmahon stupidness ends soon. IMO, this angle is much worse than Katie Vick. I know that the only way we're gonna stop getting these dumb storylines is when the entire Mcmahon family leaves WWE, but that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

That will never happen. Perhaps the biggest question will be after Vince calls it quits who takes over, Shane or Triple H?
