WTOP has been told by Prince George's County Fire that Arrington is in serious condition after a crash near Route 50 and the Capital Beltway. Arrington has reportedly been taken to Prince George's Hospital Center. Arrington was the second overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft by the Redskins. After six seasons in Washington, Arrington played for the Giants in 2006. Arrington was a free agent after being cut by the Giants after suffering a season-ending foot injury. EDIT: actually, the ESPN article makes it sound less serious: Carl Poston said it was his understanding that Arrington suffered a broken bone in his arm, three broken bones in his leg, cuts and bruises. MFer 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2007 Looking back at Arrington's stats, it looks like his 3 Pro Bowl years were his only good years. Add to that the issues he had at the end of his Redskins' days and these recent injury issues and you might be inclined to say that his career has been somewhat disappointing to this point (by #2 pick overall standards anyways).
