One thing I've noticed about Mecca's posts is that he has very little discretion when it comes to how many periods compose his ellipses. I've seen four, six, nine, even thirteen. Never the Marvin two, or the mechanically correct three, he just holds the . key down for a while, probably while mentally drafting his next, and likely stupid, thought.
