JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Wow...your #1 contender ladies and gentlemen.
Mecca Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 The WWE cares more about putting over a guy with big titties than building up the guy facing Morrison for the title.
hyperchord24 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 You knew they were going for the countout finish with that fast count. Way to ruin the drama.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 The WWE cares more about putting over a guy with big titties than building up the guy facing Morrison for the title. "Look, he's not on steroids. Who said I just pushed roided-up freaks? I push all types of freaks. People can be naturally large. That's the type of people I look for."
Brocklock Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I can't see a realistic way to have a guy that looks like Punk beat a guy that looks like V, so they took the easy way out.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 You knew they were going for the countout finish with that fast count. Way to ruin the drama. Perhaps if it were an extended match there would be drama, that was essentially a squash with a twist at the end.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I can't see a realistic way to have a guy that looks like Punk beat a guy that looks like V, so they took the easy way out. Yet John Cena can beat Great Khali and Umaga at the same time?
Kristianna Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Why'd they drop the Alejandro? The fans were like WTF. Vince McMahon likes for the fans to sit in silence. What...like at a Japanese show? Except instead of respect, WWE fans sit in silence because they honestly have no idea what's happening. ah, so more like a TNA show, then.

Pretty much all wrestling in this day and age.
Mecha Mummy Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I can't see a realistic way to have a guy that looks like Punk beat a guy that looks like V, so they took the easy way out. Wear him down with strikes and impact moves that don't require lifting him in any way and then choke him out. Or hell, even invert the result here and have VISCERA lose by countout. Anything is better than having your number one contender get squashed by a guy who hasn't been important in... well. Has Viscera EVER been important?
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I kind of think Big Daddy V has the right to the first shot over Tommy Dreamer.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I expected Benny Hill music to break out watching Tommy trip over everything on the way to the ring. So it's "Big Daddy V beats up all the faces" night on ECW. He's huge and scary looking, we get it.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 All that's left is to beat Boogeyman and Morrison in a handicap match in the main event.
The Truthiness Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I can watch a whole hour of BDV squashes.
Mecca Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 The WWE is into pushing these big monster types no, regardless Snitsky V all of them...
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Big Daddy V vs. John Cena, THE WAR THE WORLD WANTS TO SEE!
Conspiracy_Victim Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Richards looks so damn generic in that matchup shot with Thorne. There's just nothing distinctive about him when you look at him.
The Niggardly King Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I'm loving these hype videos that sound like a horrible remix of the Requiem for a Dream theme
Kristianna Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Big Daddy V must be McMahon's son. that'd be something
hyperchord24 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Maybe this match would mean something if it were a rubber match, but having a third match? Why not just have Richards face a random heel and have Thorn interfere or something. Again, lazy booking.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Balls can actually talk. I know that's not news, but by looking at him you'd think he came from the Rhino School of Promos.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 The silence throughout this match can be attributed to the fact that the crowd will silently wonder how Kevin Thorn is still on the roster.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Last week's solid show seems like such a distant memory now.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 I've seen a 161 and a Man Up poster in the crowd.

It's a shame that they got rid of Ariel. That's about the only reason I enjoyed his matches. I'm still not sure why they completely changed his character when he got hurt. The "psycho Jesus freak" character (the name escapes me for some reason) might have gone somewhere had his big rivalry with Undertaker come about.
