Tony149 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2007 Riggs vs. Heat, 24/7 title: Whoa, you can tell EWC put a ton of effort into this one. Seemed a bit long, probably has more to do with the time it takes to get from the entrances to the in-ring action, but it was good for what it was (liked Spanish Fly‘s involvement). The only thing I can say about that Moneymaker/Ned backstage segment is, subtlety is a lost art. 5 on 5 grudge match: The company must be ranking in money hand over fist to give away free cash and create such an elaborate entrance for COD. Anyway, awesome match. All is right in the world now that Jade Rodez has seen the light. Got a kick over the hockey comments regarding how each side won and lost their respective titles. Heartland title unification: After two marathon matches, finally a relatively short one! Strutter disguising himself as a vendor was a cool spot. WDW Championship: Who knew this would end up being the ME? Good thing it had a big match feel with the “video package” and in-ring introductions. Not to mention another match that was a breeze to read. Match of the Night: All the matches were worthy, but I’ll give it to TK vs. Strutter. Really enjoyed that one.
