Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2007 90% of attendance is win/loss percentage. Then you have new stadiums that draw, and old stadiums that work as a nostalgia draw. Things change in nearly every city. In 1966, Chicago drew an average of 18,000 fans a game. That's Cubs and White Sox combined. Yep, that's why the White Sox almost relocated to Milwaukee in the late '60s. They even played a few games at County Stadium, and it basically saved them financially. Oh, and Czech, you have to explain it since you were the one harping on the Rockies, basically inferring that they shouldn't be in the playoffs because their fans have been fickle.
