The Game Plan is kicking all kinds of rear right now in terms of holding a solid share of an audience. It's only got one more weekend of this though before Bee Movie takes away the family audience.

Good for Rocky.

it's kinda funny to say "I'm shocked that -insert movie- did so well." When it opens at #6 at a very slow time of year. There's no way it can make serious money, especially since they seem to be putting a lot into advertising it...but yeah, I thought it could finish like 8 or 9

Man, "Rendition" tanked. I guess people don't want to be preached to by Hollywood.

Also, it's great to see an R-rated horror movie that doesn't revolve around torture take the top spot. Then again, we do get "Saw IV " next week...

3 (!) movies achieved the sub $1,000 PSA!

The first is Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour, a PG-rated spooky movie for kids. I saw ads for it on the N. It had a PSA of $523.

Second is a cartoon version of the Ten Commandments featuring Christian Slater as Moses. I heard radio ads for it. PSA was $577

Third is Out of the Blue, a New Zealand film. Here's the review from Variety: http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117931690...mp;cs=1&p=0

It played the 2006 Toronto Film Festival. PSA was $728
