Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2007 So, I posed this question to tony and kc a few months back, but as our time spent in the lord's year of 2007 draws ever shorter, I will ask the rest of you fine fellows, would you like to do an Angle Awards this year? Now, my thoughts were that seeing that there are a lot less people aboard the goodship OAOAST then previous yrs, those writing related awards like writer of the year, match writer of the year, etc seem almost pointless. But maybe that's just me. However, I figured we could still probably do a downsized AA, with awards such as tag team of the year, wrestler of the year, heel/face, MOTY, etc, etc. Anyway, I can organize it, and tally up all the votes. Just let me know if you guys actually want to do Angle Awards this year.
Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2007 I'm up for it. I love doing the Angle Awards. We can easily make it straight up kayfabe and do only character-related awards, disregarding any of the real life awards.

Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Alright, so that's basically 3-0 in favor of kayfabe only awards. When do people want the the cutoff date to be, because I'll start putting together the ballot around then? I think you all used NR for last year's, so we might as well just do that again. Tony149 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Add me to the list of people who think the AA should be done kayfabe. It's weird seeing the show go in and out of character, as it has been the past few years. But if we wanted to do an award for Writer of the Year, we could just mention the winner in passing during the show. Put a graphic up for it or something, like they do for technical awards. Patty nailed the cutoff date. With the new PPV scheduled NR is the last event of the year.
