MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 I wonder how an angle where Festus gets injured during a match causing him to go deaf, therefore he could never hear the closing bell to calm him down would go. I don't know about going deaf, however a double slap to the ears would cause ringing in your ears... I noticed that the bell rang prior to their introduction on Smackdown and Festus continued to act normal on the way to the ring. I think someone goofed up. Someone here (actually, probably more than one person) brought this idea up over a month ago, and John Morrison and The Miz even mentioned the thought of doing it while they were doing commentary on ECW a few weeks ago.
