In 1989, we had the following movies: Batman, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Star Trek V and License to Kill (James Bond).

 

In 2008, we will have the following new movies: Batman: The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Star Trek, and a currently untitled James Bond 22.

Red State:

Is this anything more than a rumor at this point? That politically loaded title sounds pretty lousy.

 

When I spoke to Kevin Smith he confirmed that he's making Red State once he's wrapped on Zack and Miri. It's going to be a horror film and thats about all we know, other than the finished script is 87 pages long (the shortest script he's ever written) and that the Weinsteins have passed on it.

 

If anything, I'm more annoyed it's looking like we'll never see the superhero movie he promised us, Ranger Danger and The Danger Rangers
