Guest dpac Report post Posted June 20, 2002 are there any wrestlers you think are in desperate need of new music??, i have thought bigshows music has sucked since day one, i think he should have no theme music(ala andre the giant, and the dudleys circa ecw), ut new music is pretty bad too
Guest big Dante Cruz Report post Posted June 20, 2002 I get this idea that you think Big Show's music sucked from day one since it actually did. What kind of friggin' crack were they smoking? You aren't going to get a huge, giant man over with a rock/bluegrass theme. Val Venis probably needs new music. Maybe a gimmick to go with it. Which reminds me, did Steven Richards ever get new music for the whole "hardcore" thing? Also, I think Brock Lesnar does. He needs something distinctive, and his music sounds decidedly stock and generic.
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Big Show and Undertaker are the two top picks for me. Lesnar's could use some new music too, but keep that wierd high pitched metal whine at the beginning he has now. Kidman needs a more rocked out version of his. Like RVD had his first WWF Theme redone by a heavy rock group, Kidman needs that too, because if you really listen to it, it's pretty good.
Guest Suicide King Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Kidman had new music on Smackdown last week.
Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Brock should definetly get his revamped, but yes keep that whine at the beginning. Kurt should go back to the metal version of his theme. He used it for like a day and I thought it ruled. Big Show's sucked, but he's nWo now. No theme needed. Eddy needs a new theme Badly. If he has to keep killing his interviews with words like Homie, Esee, Holmes, etc. I'm gonna puke. He's a bad ass now, fuck the Lation Heeeeet.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Jericho should use Tommy Lee's "Hold Me Down" for his theme. Andre had no theme?
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Really King? I missed it I guess... or I missed Smackdown, one of the two. YES! I forgot Eddie! Latino Heat is the Worst. Music. Ever. Not really, Barry Horriwitz coming out to "Ode to Joy" was the worst ever, but still.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Jericho should use the old "Break The Walls Down". The remix is just too quiet for me. The original version was just loud and got your attention and that's kinda what Jericho needs now.
Guest LesnarLunatic Report post Posted June 20, 2002 How about a new theme for Test? "Warning: Test is bad for your health" *Test comes out*
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Yea, Jericho needs his entire original entrance. The old Titantron Video, the old music, the blackout after the countdown, and he needs to be in the ArmStretch pose when the lights come back up. All of that was so much better than what he has now. "Warning: Test is bad for your health" *Test comes out* That was one of the dumbest things I've ever heard on here and that's saying something... Well.. it wasn't serious.. and it was one of those 'shoot' comments on how much Test sucks. So just take your brain out of that ice box and put it back in. Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Well.. it wasn't serious.. and it was one of those 'shoot' comments on how much Test sucks. I love how some people abuse the word "shoot" on this board. So just take your brain out of that ice box and put it back in. Ooooo... testy. I take my last post back, THIS is the dumbest thing I've ever seen on here.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Remember Test's old music? "Test, Test, This is a test" ::Inaudible yelling, Kind of sounded like "I'm not over 'cause you don't care, I really suck, but look at the hair"::
Guest LesnarLunatic Report post Posted June 20, 2002 So just take your brain out of that ice box and put it back in. Ooooo... testy. I take my last post back, THIS is the dumbest thing I've ever seen on here. I'm not really in the mood for a mass flamewar or anything. Especially one started by somebody else. It all started as an innocent sarcastic remark for a new Test theme. Maybe Test can come out to dead silence.. wait, he already does! The WWF has too many generic themes. A few more like the DX theme could be good.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Lita needs Regal's old music when she comes back, tweaked, alittle, of course. "She's a MANNNNN, SUCH a MANNN! (Such a man!) She's a real MAN'S MAN!"
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Maybe Test can come out to dead silence.. wait, he already does! The WWF has too many generic themes. A few more like the DX theme could be good. Well, that means Brockberg can join him from the way the crowds have been reacting lately. All kidding aside, you are right about there being some many generic themes, but also, there are too many shitty remixes as well. I don't mind the remix of "Break The Walls Down", but like I said before, it's too quiet. The remix of Rocky's music is downright horrible to me, it sound slike weak ass pop music with a sprinkling of a drum beat thrown in.
Guest notJames Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Benoit needs to axe the Our Lady Peace remix of his theme. It's hella lame. (No offense to fellow OLP fans...) Go back to the old one, eh? And for god's sake, I wish they'd stop putting the wrestlers' catchphrases before their music starts. You know it's getting old when Hardcore Holly gets that kind of treatment. And change HBK's theme to "Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye"... maybe he'll get the hint.

Brockberg has been held back! ;-) Although Lesnar would be worse with Backlund, that'd raise the question of "Is Lesnar the son of Bobby Backlund?" Brock could use a more aggressive sounding theme, one that says "I'm coming to kill you" Does Hardcore Holly have the same theme? If he has the same theme that he used in 99, I'd give the OK to switch his theme.

Guest Ash Ketchum Report post Posted June 20, 2002 And for god's sake, I wish they'd stop putting the wrestlers' catchphrases before their music starts. You know it's getting old when Hardcore Holly gets that kind of treatment. Sounds like a good idea... Except for Rocky and Hurricane. The songs sounds a HELL of a lot better with their catchphrases in front of them.

Hardcore has a catchphrase? The fuck? Hey, here's an even better idea for HBK: Why not turn him into a crippled Adrian Adornis?
Guest B.Horowitz Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Not really, Barry Horowitz coming out to "Ode to Joy" was the worst ever, but still. Don't diss the jobber! I think the Hardy's could do with at least a revamped version of their theme. I like it enough, but its getting pretty old. Is there a theme other than Vince's that has been around longer? Guest Ash Ketchum Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Hardcore has a catchphrase? WTF?
Guest Celtic Jobber Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Hardcore has a catchphrase? WTF? Yeah, Hardcore Holly's catchphrase is "How do you like me now?". I think they got it from a song by that country singer guy who was on NWA's ppv last night.
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 21, 2002 Sometimes the catchphrase before the music is good: The Rock, The Hurricane, Booker T. Some, like Hardcore Holly, just sound bad.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted June 21, 2002 Putting the "Whoo!" at the start of Flair's entrance was stupid.
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Report post Posted June 21, 2002 ::Inaudible yelling, Kind of sounded like "I'm not over 'cause you don't care, I really suck, but look at the hair":: That's so catchy...it might work... Anyways, I think the Hardyz need new music. Maybe somethinga little harder, specialy for Jeff since he is going more extreme lately. Jericho needs the old entrance. I never heard Angle's rock remix but it has to be better than his current one. And what the hell happened to his black tights...they kicked ass.
Guest Smeghead Report post Posted June 21, 2002 Which reminds me, did Steven Richards ever get new music for the whole "hardcore" thing? Last time I saw Richards on TV, he was using Kronik's old music, only without the word "Kronik" echoing at the beginning. I don't think it's possible to get more generic than that. Anyway, sometimes catchphrases can be good additions to the music. Rock, Booker, and Hurricane just wouldn't be the same without those opening lines. And sometimes they just plain suck. Flair could do without the "woo". Hardcore Holly's opening line sucks.
