Guest Report post Posted April 7, 2008 It appears that Joe Torre will have to learn the hard way in regards to Juan Pierre. I'm not really ok with that.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 Since we don't seem to have any way to respond to posts in the Whiny Bitches folder... Anthony Reyes was probably the worst starting pitcher in the majors last season. I know he had a good spring training, and had a perfect inning last night, and gets a good amount of K's despite not having a "putaway" pitch, and he's still kinda young, and he's really good in AAA, and he won a game in the World Series, and he's got a low-90s fastball with a shitty curve. But, YOU'RE SAYING THIS BECAUSE THE CARDINALS ARE NOT STARTING A GUY FOR LIKE 3 GAMES UNTIL PINEIRO IS HEALTHY AND WILL BE SHIPPED BACK TO MEMPHIS, WHO HAD LIKE A 7.00 ERA WHEN HE STARTED LAST YEAR AND IS NOT VERY GOOD AT BASEBALL! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO GET IN A TRADE FOR HIM WHEN HIS STINT IS DONE BY LATE APRIL. Leelee didnt see Daniel Cabrera pitch last year.
The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 I wouldn't say that Cabrera was as bad as Reyes, but I do think it's difficult to say that Reyes was the worst starting pitcher on his own team, let alone the league. Don't forget that Mike Maroth and Kip Wells suited up for the Redbirds last year.
Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 I know it's only been six games, but the Tigers look like shit.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2008 Yeah, there's nothing you can point to and say, "THAT is why they're so bad." Everything's just awful. Granderson being out hurts, as does their big offseason acquisition hitting a buck eleven. But no one else in that offence is really doing anything either, except for Guillen, and the starting pitching has just been atrocious. Dontrelle Willis will be in the bullpen at some point this year (SEVEN walks!).
