Router/Non Router thing.

I got a router today (fed up of keep changing my Ethernet cable around) and its a wired, non-wireless (obviously) router.

 

Now, on GTAIV, whenever I try to connect to a game, I keep finding myself in a room all by myself, always the host, with nobody coming in, this is on TDM, C&C and Hangman's NOOSE.

 

Now, this has only been happening since I went through my router.

 

Can anybody shed some light on this?

 

Also, if anyone can add my MSN and help me out via that i'd be much appreciated.

When you sign into LIVE and go look at the SYSTEM blade there is an option to test your network. If it shows your NAT is moderate or strict, you may want to forward some ports.

Thanks for the help there MrR, but i'm on PS3. I did a connection test there though, and it did reference my NAT.

 

I have, like, no idea what to do with whatever a NAT is, though.

Forward your ports; should fix whatever problem your having.
