The crowd reaction for Pearce/McGuinness could be interesting. Pearce isn't considered a main event level talent in ROH, and he gets a lot of legit heel heat since he works a more old-school style that doesn't fit the typical ROH mold. Nigel is considered legit and he's very over as a heel right now as well. It seems to me that most of Nigel's legit heat is in New York City, where he offended the fans by getting injured entertaining them at Rising Above and couldn't entertain them again the next night at Final Battle. I'm assuming that Nigel will be the default babyface tonight, as he was very well received in Dayton last time when he was walking a tweener line. Still, the crowd reaction for this match could be interesting if both men are legitimately disliked during this time.

In addition, I believe there will be some sort of non-finish tonight as neither title should really be changing hands at this point to either guy.

This was a very fun show. The heat for AP (really, Larry Sweeney) and Nigel in the main event was intense. The finish was expected but executed well. However, the true highlight was the Strong-Hero match which was a brutally stiff match.

Here are the full results

1). Shane Hagadorn and Tank Toland d. Silas Young and Mitch Franklin

2). Tyler Black defeats Delirious

3). Claudio d. Jay Briscoe and Brent Albright

4). Erick Stevens d. Bryan Danielson

5). Necro Butcher d. Aries (Aries refused to fight Necro and tried to convince him to leave the group. Aries took some unblocked punches and a chair shot)

6). Kevin Steen and El Generico d. Jimmy Jacobs and Joey Matthews

7). Chris Hero d. Roderick Strong

8). Nigel McGuinness d. Adam Pearce. (No titles were exchanged due to the interference from Bobby Dempsey)

Show closes with a multi-man and multi-feud brawl between Nigel and S&S, Albright and Claudio, AOTF, Briscoes and Steenerico.

Main Show

~The four corner survival becomes a tag match of Alex Payne & Silas Young vs. Rhett Titus & Delirious when Titus announces Daizee Haze as the manager of he and Delirious!

1) Delirious & Rhett Titus w/ Daizee Haze defeat Alex Payne & Silas Young when Rhett steals Delirious' pin on Payne.

2) Erick Stevens defeats Jay Briscoe with a Doctor Bomb.

3) Chris Hero defeats Pelle Primeau in a Lights Out Match. Albright interfered dumping Hero on his head, but Del Rey delivered a big shot to Pelle to keep him down for the count.

4) Tyler Black & The Necro Butcher defeat Kevin Steen & El Generico when Black hammered Steen with a chair shot allowing Necro to get the pin.

5) Claudio Castagnoli defeats American Dragon Bryan Danielson in what was described as an EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT match. Claudio dropped Dragon with the elevated European Uppercut.

~INTERMISSION~

6) Non-Title: Sara Del Ray defeats MsChif & Daizee Haze when Sara pinned Daizee.

~Larry Sweeney is out with SNS Inc. Go Shiozaki is Pearce's mystery partner.

7) Roderick Strong & Brent Albright defeat Adam Pearce & Go Shiozaki via ref stoppage due to knees to the head of Pearce.

~After the match Pearce threw a fireball at Albright and took him out.

......

DANGEROOOOOOOOOOUS!

8) Non-Title: ROH World Champion Nigel Mcguinness defeats Jerry Lynn with a variation of a roll up. Lynn got a ton of near falls and a huge "please come back" chant.

9) Austin Aries defeats Jimmy Jacobs with a 450 following FIVE consecutive running drop kicks in the corner. The match was freaking awesome. MsChif interfered at one point and misted Aries. The Briscoes and the AOTF brawled.

~As per the stipulations, Austin Aries gets to select the match for ROH's return to Chicago. He selects a No Disqualification match between Jimmy Jacobs and THE NECRO BUTCHER!
