Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 14, 2008 Two OTs. How many QBs does Oregon typically go through in a season? Oh, about 3 or 4.

Guest Smues Report post Posted September 14, 2008 14-0 OU nearing the end of the 1st quarter. There was some slight hope there that it wouldn't at least be a total blowout, but I think it's going to get ugly really fast now. Make that 13-0 as they miss the EP. Yeah go UW!! Edit: Can a guy really be considered "Up on his feet" when two people carry him off the field upright and his feet never touch the ground?
Bored 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2008 Uh ya, Tressel might want to junk the swapping of quarterbacks and just stick with Pryor.

Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2008 Looks like it was a combination of excellent defense and horrible ball control. Fumbles and the like all over, a lot coming out of Auburn's wrinkles on the spread offense. Ohio State actually looks pretty good tonight, but USC is just outclassing them in a million ways. Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted September 14, 2008 Boeckman absolutely cannot handle this pressure at all. Play the kid! Unrelated: This came to my mind with the glorious tit shot of the USC cheerleaders' sweaters. Is there an easier job in the world than USC football recruiter? "Hey, 18 year old kid, you can play here, win all the time, enjoy perfect weather that encourages all of these nubile young coeds to dress accordingly, and then get picked up in the NFL draft and make a fortune." Bored 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2008 And after all this Ohio State could easily run the table and find themselves back in the MNC again to torture us all.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2008 I don't get it. I thought USC wasn't that good. I thought they only beat a really, really bad Virginia team. Ohio State was supposed to be the better team, they were gonna win and prove us all wrong. Anyone that thought otherwise, doesn't know anything, I thought. Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted September 14, 2008 And after all this Ohio State could easily run the table and find themselves back in the MNC again to torture us all. I don't think they'll make it. They have to go to Wisconsin and Illinois, and still have Penn State and Michigan. If Ohio playing them close and USC totally dismantling them is any indication, they're not making it out of the Big Ten unscathed.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 14, 2008 All this USC hype's gotten ridiculous. The teams were just about dead even last year and USC lost 11 starters to OSU's 3. The Buckeyes are definitely the more talented team. Now all of a sudden, everyone's ignoring the talent level because of two games. In the first one, USC blew out an awful Virginia team (They were picked to finish last in their division behind Duke by Phil Steele who's considered the top preseason prognosticator there is, and they led Richmond 3-0 in the 4th quarter last week.) And in the second one, OSU played Ohio close in pretty much the most obvious look-ahead game in college football history. If I were trying to set a line analytically, I'd say USC should be favored by 2.5, but deep down I feel like Ohio State's going to win outright. How's it going there, Sean? Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2008 They might as well put Pryor in the game. His "spirit" isn't going to be crushed playing garbage time.
Kinetic 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2008 Unrelated: This came to my mind with the glorious tit shot of the USC cheerleaders' sweaters. Is there an easier job in the world than USC football recruiter? I ended up watching a lot of football today and would opine that the USC cheerleaders are easily the hottest I saw. The least attractive: Purdue. Awful, awful game. Ohio State should be able to win the Big Ten, but it's hard to imagine them being allowed back in the title game after being so thoroughly embarrassed on nation television like this. Every other BCS conference team would have to lose two games.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted September 14, 2008 Purdue's largely an agricultural and engineering school. I've partied there, and the girls are about what you'd expect.

Ohio State should be able to win the Big Ten, but it's hard to imagine them being allowed back in the title game after being so thoroughly embarrassed on nation television like this. Every other BCS conference team would have to lose two games. Yeah I am pretty sure OSU is done after tonight. USC I am sure is going to lose at least one game they shouldn't, but probably not two. If the Big 12 and SEC champions end up with only one loss then those teams is clearly going to be ahead of OSU, and possibly even with two losses depending on who they are. Right now I seriously think one of Oklahoma or Missouri could run the table. And even though USC is going to be easily #1 in the polls tomorrow, I think Oklahoma might be the best team in college football at this point. What would be really funny is if Penn State ran the table (not impossible) and ended up in the title game, after all the anti-Big 10 homers have their night of celebration today with OSU's loss. Oh, and as far as their cheerleader discussion goes, I thought Oklahoma's were the prettiest, from the glimpse I got. Ours (Oregon's) are definitely the skankiest though, both in terms of outfits and routine. So, um, go us!

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2008 I'm glad OU finally got over their road woes. Last season they played a tight game with a downright awful (maybe worse than this Washington) Iowa State team. They also lost a game they had no business losing to Colorado. I really thought this game would be close. Even though Washington is terrible OU has typically been terrible on the road under Stoops. I'm really pleased with the way they just steamrolled Washington. But of course OU fans (including me) won't be excited because we've seen this same song and dance four out of the last 5 years only to have our hopes crushed in a BCS bowl. Also, I thought Tressel was supposed to be some kind of a great genius coach. I know Pete Carrol can coach circles around pretty much anybody in college fb, but he shouldn't have been able to do that to someone that's supposed to be in the top 3 like Tressel. My god that was awful. And Boeckman blows too. Pryor should've been in that game from the 2nd quarter on. We saw this when Nebraska went into the Coliseum, they tried to play conservative and keep it close because they were so afraid of USC's offense. That shit doesn't work against USC! I mean going for big plays might not work, but at least you went down swinging instead of wussing out!
