Bored 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2008 In case you didn't watch the Houston/Marshall game last night, and you probably didn't, you missed Houston wide receiver Patrick Edwards get Theismann'd by some band equipment.

Broward83 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 There's an article on ESPN about it, the university is paying for his full medical expenses and UH has tried to get in contact with the C-USA official's but I don't think they've gotten word back from them yet, as it was the crew's job to make sure the field was clear and safe for play. HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2008 Just a reminder that ESPN2 has a hallmark I-AA contest tonight. Sports Network has Wofford ranked #3 and App State at #2. This game is more important to Widmyer/Strickland as both are Seniors and could impress NFL scouts with a big showing. Who To Watch For Wofford - QB Ben Widmyer: Completing 68.8% of his passes with 7 TD vs. 0 INT. Also has a 6.7 YPC and 6 rushing TD. - WR Andy Strickland: Has 5 receiving TD with a 19.8 YPR. Appalachian State - QB Armanti Edwards: Completing only 59.2% of his passes but has 15 TD vs. 2 INT along with 8 rushing TD. - RB Devin Radford: Big play threat! Has a 7.2 YPC with 3 rushing TD and on 5 catches he's averaging 35.6 YPR. - RB Robert Welton: Has a 6.7 YPC and 7 rushing TD despite being third on the team in carries. Bored 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 Ouch, Minnesota to lose on a pick six with only 12 seconds to go.
Bored 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 Purdue with the hook and ladder with 25 seconds to go to take a 48-42 lead on Michigan! Mediocrity of the two teams aside, this has been an amazing game. And Michigan's bowl streak is officially over.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 No close game in Lawrence, where KU is smothering K-State worse than Mangina will be smothering his turkey this Thanksgiving ... Obvious cheap shots aside, this makes three straight years Prince has been unable to beat KU, and more than likely he'll round up another set of losses to Nebraska and Missouri. Really, if it wasn't for the two wins over Texas, he would have fucking nothing to show for his three years here. Unfortunately his contract extension lasts until 2012, which means they'll likely have to pay him to go away by 2010.
Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 I expect a significant amount of the commentary during the Florida-Georgia game to be along the lines of "A 1-loss SEC champion should be in the title game over an undefeated Penn State!".
Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 Ouch, real tough call for Georgia there, Tebow was clearly down before the first down line. Edit: One real terrible call and another pretty bad call leads to points for Florida which is very disappointing, I'd like to see this game settled on the field. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 Not that it mattered, but that was a pretty horrible spot after the 3rd down play. It looked like Tebow was within a foot of the goal line.

Jaxxson Mayhem 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 Not that it mattered, but that was a pretty horrible spot after the 3rd down play. It looked like Tebow was within a foot of the goal line. I couldn't believe that shit. Then they even refused to measure to see if it was a 1st down.
