The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 No, I get it. I haven't seen a meaningful game in the snow in...hmm... It's just extra frustrating when you know something isn't going to work...and they go out and try to do it again and again and again. I can't tell you the last time Lee Evans was open deep. Of course...you need to be able to keep the defense near the line to get a guy open like that. So it's all, still, about that frigging running game.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Plus with the joke of a schedule they have, they shouldn't be struggling to make it. Granted the division is playing as well as it has in years but these are the kind of games they must win.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Pretty much. They just lost 3 straight, all in the division, and yet...Cleveland at home, KC on the road, SF at home... You can pull all those games before round 2 with the division starts. But...not without massive struggle apparently. They need to win here and stop the bleeding.
Psycho Penguin Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Bills aren't that much better of a team than Cleveland. Both are average at best.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 4th turnover so far. If Cleveland was any good at all, this game would be a route.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 When's the last time the Bills got a sack? Just then I guess.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Christ, check down every bloody play
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Yeah. This has quickly become a case of Edwards being so afraid to lose them the game, that he's not going to put himself in position to win it.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 The Bills could sure use a forced turnover of their own at this point.
Mike wanna be Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Yeah. This has quickly become a case of Edwards being so afraid to lose them the game, that he's not going to put himself in position to win it. Time for "Just Pray" Losman.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 There it is. What a joke. Throw in JP, not like he hasn't thrown for 2 TDs in a quarter before.
jimmy no nose Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 When did Braylon Edwards start holding onto the ball? I think this is the first time he's even caught 5 balls all year.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 And like clockwork...the Bills 4th quarter Defense shows up.
Guest Czecherbear Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Did you guys actually think the Bills were going to be good? They're coached by Dick Jauron.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Not good, but with their schedule at least fucking competitive.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Stop fucking with us already. I mean yeah it's great they keep getting back in it but they just keep giving it back.
jimmy no nose Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I still don't see the Browns winning this game. They refuse to officially pull away. They've led by at least 10 4 different times now and just can't finish it.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 So that was, what then, a total of 170 yards the last two plays in this game?
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Horseshit penalty but what else is new.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 15 yards for pushing a guy who isn't out of bounds? When did we start playing against New England?
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Time to stop being a fucking coward Trent.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 At least Lynch came to play. I don't think it'll be enough to bail Edwards out though. He needs to do SOMETHING.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Jesus fucking Christ, if he is too scared to try and win this game, take him out.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Yeah...but Losman will fumble away 7 points within his first 4 snaps.
jimmy no nose Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Stupid penalty call reminds me. If you look at the NFL.com nominees for defensive play of the week there was that critical Chris Carr INT on the sidelines for the Titans. On one of the later views they show of it there's a clear shot of Albert Haynesworth's hand coming down right on top of David Garrard's head and knocking him to the ground. It's basically the one thing that's been consistently called a 15 yard penalty all year, but that's the only time it doesn't matter. http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d...goryId=featured
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Or thrown an 80 yard bomb. It's worth the gamble at this point if all Edwards is going to do is check down. Third and long with that shit? Really?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 WOW. That thing hung FOREVER.
