Darth Pipes 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2009 Jesse looks awful on this show. You could see the fire of SNL was burning out at this point. Still, Hogan/Warrior vs Hennig/Genius is a good match that has an interesting moment toward the end of the match. Jake/Valentine is surprisngly not bad either. Enigma 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Do you mean SNME? And since we're discussing people's appearances, let me just say that Sherri looks smoking hot here.
Darth Pipes 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Yes, I mean SNME. My bad. Sherri wasn't beautiful like Elizabeth was but she was sexy as hell.
Enigma 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 I like how the camera zoomed right in on Sherri's ass once Duggan pulled her skirt up. You can tell that was Vince having fun with the 11:30pm timeslot.

Enigma 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Yeah, the site I went to for the Clash of the Champions info had it spelled wrong, but I wasn't sure at the time. But it was really late so I figured if it was wrong, Venkman would correct it.
Guest Smues Report post Posted January 2, 2009 I didn't remember Mike Tyson reffing a Hogan Savage match, but they kept hyping it throughout this show. So I did a google search to discover that match was like 2 weeks after Tyson lost the belt to Douglas, so they had Buster Douglas be the guest ref. Awesome. This was a decent episode, although it's hard to say that about any show with Sapphire and Dusty. When I close my eyes to sleep tonight I'm going to see Sapphire dancing and have nightmares. BUTT 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2009 Jesse looks like a complete geek here. He reminds me of Mr. Ernst. I've seen him clean-shaven and bare-headed, but never both at the same time! And that's a bad combo. "The Slash of the World Wrestling Federation." So timely.

What I enjoyed was how Jesse just ripped apart Dusty and Sapphire. Funny and he just did not like them. They were hyping the Mike Tyson thing for a while. It had always been a dream match of sorts to have Hulk Hogan vs Mike Tyson. Then Douglas happened and that was the end of Tyson. Though of course, the WWE eventually worked with him eight years later.
